I'm having a hard time attaching my humminbird fishin buddy fish finder to my sun dolphin sportsman. The spot I want to put it does not have plywood under it. That means it just bows the heck out of the plastic.I have my trolling motor on front so that rules out using that area or plywood. Any ideas? (It's obviously not tighten down now)

Anyone have a garmin echo 100 or 150 fishfinder?

How deep does everybody like their rudders and trolling motors?

I bought this combo for plastics(senko) but I am wanting to expand my lure selection to Spinners,jigs and rage rigging. I was just curious if a medium heavy, fast action rod with 10lb yo zuri line would be sufficient for all I'm wanting to do? I'm on a limited budget or else I would have a combo for each. Also do you have any tips/techniques for starting jigging/spinners/rage rigs? Thanks!!

What rods work best with each kind of bait? Example-Baitcaster is good for plastics and...? Spinning tackle is good for...? What works best at which time of the year. Example-Spring is best suited for...? Are there lures suited specifically for ponds? Or specifically for lakes? I recently got some baits that I would like to use with the suited tackle at the suited time to "up"my chances. Senkos, red eye shad,rat l trap,rapala floating,rage tail craw,rage tail toad, rooster tail,etc

Hey guys I just got an 8 ft sun dolphin. Think I'm getting a 30 lb Minn kota,everstart max 29,Minn kota 110p charger. Do you have any must haves for a boat this small? Do's and dont's/Tips?

I just bought 2 packs of the rage tail craw.I got a pack of black blue flake to use for jig trailers and a pack of bama craw for regular fishing. I was just looking for some pictures of how you have them on your jigs as trailers??(Do you cut the craw or use the whole thing?) Also how do you rig them by themselves(bama craw)?? Pictures for that would be awesome too! If it isn't obvious i learn by sight lol

Stumbled upon a few kits at bass pro and thought it would be awesome if there was a rage tail kit. Googled it and bass pro "had" it. I for sure would buy this in a heart beat! Lol

Heard these things were killer so i picked up a pack of green pumpkin pearl and watermelon red flake and a pack of 5/0 hooks. How are these fished? Top water at a steady pace? Where at? Just on the edge of moss or weeds? I plan on using them in farm ponds! Just looking for some tips/tricks! Thanks!

Couldn't find this in the FAQ. Looking to get a baitcaster and am curious of the weight. Trying to get the perfect one. Unsure if it would be medium or medium heavy!

Just a few questions i have or things i don't really get. First off i can say that i have always had spinning tackle and i thought it was awesome. I had always wondered about a bait caster but was happy with my spinning tackle. That was until i was told by a friend how a bait caster was the best thing since sliced bread. Now i would like to try it out. Seems pretty straight forward but it seems easy to get backlashes.I plan on buying a 30-40$ combo from walmart. Most of the time i will be using senko's or other plastics. I am not sure how much they weigh, which will have an affect on my selection. The 2 i was looking at were both medium action, one was 6' and the other 6'6". I am unsure of the gear ratio or which one would be for me and my set up.What helped you the most when you first got a bait caster? What hurt you the most when you first started using a bait caster? How does your thumb not get tore up from "feathering" the line all day when using braid? Thank you for any advice!!

Seems like a lot of spinnerbaits! I have never had any luck with them!

Since i started this thread i got some 10lbs trilene XL in 10lb test and put it on! That is the exact hook I am using now is the Gamagatsu 3/0 EWG Does not suprise me! I try to watch the line for bites and wait until i feel tension before i do anything
