  7. yeah im going to take It back to the local shop i got it from they just sent me another one with no problem but I'm gonna see if i can just trade it for something else. It just makes me so mad they the average bass fisherman is like me, we spend hard earned money on what we think is a good product and they broke setting the hook. I say break this one shattered, its in 4 pieces.
  8. Has anyone else had any issues with the carrot stix wild black? I have broke 2 flipping stixs within the past year. I have 2 of the orange ones with no issues just the blacks ones.
  9. I'm new to offshore fishing but I think I have the right equipment (2 HDS10's gen2 with structure scan and point 1 gps) to fish ledges but I'm completely lost and have no clue what I'm doing offshore. I'm fishing lake Seminole this week and from what I'm hearing is there are bass starting to move out to the river ledges but the river is high and muddy. How deep should I focus on and what advice can you keep someone that has never done offshore fishing? Thanks in advance
  10. thanks for all the info. keep it coming! No one has said anything about lipless cranking, is that a cold water only technique?
  11. I have been trying to get comfortable fishing off the bank(offshore) and I live in northwest Florida and there are a lot of water that has a lot of hydrilla. I have had little success fishing in 8'-10' of were the grass tops out at around 4' with a lipless crankbait. Just need some advice on how to break this down and catch some limits. Are bass in the grass year around? What should I use? Is a lipless crank a bad idea with the current water temp in the 60's?
  12. my life proof has already paid for it. I had to go for a swim to get the boat and left the phone in my pocket and it never missed a beat.

  15. I use a 2005 triton tr186 and love the boat but I would really look into the Phoenix boats.
  16. I didn't think Mike McClellend made the Classic this year.
  17. I believe that this is going to be Gerald Swindle. This guy is due up for a win and is in the thick of things a lot of the time not to mention that he fishes Guntersville a lot. Also if I was to pick the top 6 it would go like this 1) G-man 2)Brandon Palaniuk 3) Mike Iaconelli 4)Jason Christie 5)Casey Ashley 6)Chris Zaldain
  18. The cranking model I was talking about is the XD cranker its rated for 3/4-2oz. However they do have one called "big cranker" and its rated for 1/4oz-3/4.
  19. Might wanna check out the Ardent F-700 Danny Brauer Flipping reel
  20. I'm just now getting into fishing offshore and going to devote most of my fishing time learning how to fish offshore.(hope its not time wasted) I'm in the market of buying 2 deep cranking combos. The reels I was thinking about ordering were 2 Lews BB1 pro's in 5.1/1 gear ratio and also 2 Falcon lowrider's in the xd cranker model. Also what line do yall use throwing a 6xd compared to a 10xd?
