  1. I pick up some 3/0 Mustad Ultra Point Big Gun Catfish hooks today. They seems to be a good hook I've see next week at the lake. Going to use them with a egg sinker rig.

  3. I have caught most of catfish on chicken liver or nightclawers!
  4. I use a texas rig and plastic worms.

  6. I just got my dream set up a Abu 4600C3 I need to find a rod for it.
  7. I fish from the bank, I also caught most of my bass from a farm pond.
  8. I always thought a 6' med action rod was right me!

  11. When I bass fish years ago I use Abu 5000 with 12lb test line and a 6' med action and landed a lot of bass and other fish before I sold the reel and gave the rod away. I pefer 6' rods for bass so would it hurt if I try a longer rod? I mostly fish with soft plastics.
  12. I have a Ugly Stik Catfish and Striper rod so I may use those.

  14. I would to replace my cheap rods with St Croix or Flacon Rods.

  16. I was think about using live shad or shiner minnows. I use the Abu 4600C3 for Bass and the Abu 6500C3 for Cats.
  17. I live in Montgomery,AL. I have a Abu 4600C3 and a Abu 6500C3. We have the Robert F Henry Lock & Dam on the Alabama River and the Jordan Dam on the Coosa River.
  18. Do they be below the dam? Is that Abu Garica 6500C3?

  21. I have not caught many big catfish thou. I really would like to find me a St Croix Classic Catfish Rod.

  23. Maybe but I really got a bad taste for Ugly Stiks!
  24. I been looking at the St Croix Premier 6,6'' MH model.
