I have there Abu Garcia 6500C3 that I use for catfishing so I know the Revo S should be just as good!

Would rod would your remend? I am looking at Made in USA rod, that's all purpose.

Are these good reels for someone who is on a budget and just getting started in low profile baitcasters and bass fishing?

Get a Abu Garcia 4600C3

Might try a St Croix Legend Bass Tournament.

It might be some better choices out there.

I will get from Japan, I pefer baitcasting gear but I may give spinning a try for bass.

I use mostly light lures, I like them 4'' plastic worms with a 1/2 oz to 3/8 bullet weight.

I sold my Abu 4600 round baitcasting reel, I thought I could use these for bass fishing but they are heavier and bulky to cast all day. So I am looking at getting a low profile baitcaster or a high dollar spinning gear! I might get the Shimano Stella STL2500HGSFI or the lightweight Shimano Aldebaran ALD51HG baitcaster, which would you pick? I leaning toward the spinning reel.

I am plan on using 10lb power pro on it.

I am wondering is it overprice, I have a Abu 4600C4 that I got for Largemouth Bass but its uncomtable to cast all day. I use to be a fan of the round bait caster for bass fishing but the only round bait caster I prefer now is my Abu Garcia 6500C3 that I use for Cats and Striped Bass. I wont to give spinning reels a try for Largemouth Bass.

I also been looking at getting a St Croix Wild River 8'6'' H action casting rod.
