  1. Well, I'll give it shot. I'm not one to shot down an idea until after I have tried it. Thanks Rich.
  2. I'm lost........how would this help with a smooth hookset? It looks similar to a Texas rig. I swear I don't mean to be rude, but bass are pretty picky as it is, it seems as though the plastic caps would make a bass stop and think. It's never good when a bass thinks.
  3. First, your going to need a second job.
  4. Can you post a pic of your new invention?
  5. I started out with Testors but moved over to water-based acrylics because they clean up with water. I've been a much happier guy.
  6. sweet
  7. Beef jerky and cheese. The wife allows me one beer per trip. Other than that it's coffee and water.
  8. One of the most beautiful sounds I can think of. That deep, throaty grumble, the smell of exaust......sweet.
  9. Hey Rooster, 2 weeks ago, I gave away a brand new steering wheel that looked exactly like that one. Still new in the box, sitting in my garage for two years. I gave it to a guy from work that I'm not that fond of. It would have done my heart good to see it on your boat. DANG IT!!!
  10. Man, that's gotta' feel good knowing that you've added that much more life and value to to your float. Awesome job, and great tutorial, too.
  11. Thanks Max. These are my 8th, 9th, and 10th lures so I'm still very new to lure making. I have not really started to mix colors yet, and I tend to lean toward bold colors because there is only muddy river fishing here, but soon I will start working on more natural looking paint jobs.
  12. Here are my three latest.
  13. Awesome. How do you get such an even coat of glitter?
  14. Very nice. I love those fins.
