I probably won't explain this correctly. I am very new to this myself and just used a shakee head for the first time two weeks ago. It is a weighted hook. The head of the bait goes down with the end floating upward to make it look like the bait is feeding on the bottom. I actually had pretty good luck on my first try with them. I would definitely say it is worth a try.

Well, I'm not a guy but I am the only one in my work circle who fishies for anything. It is frustrating to have no one to talk to, other than hubby at home. I get a good bit of razzing about it too. I am in south central Kentucky and there are tons of bass fisherman around, just none in the professional environment in which I work.

And that is exactly why we all are addicted to bass fishing! Congratulations!
