Big O you should work on top water floating craws and frogs you could change the game. I fish these craws top water if I had ones that float and the claws dangled it'd be deadly!

I was going to ask if any guys on boats retrieved their rods with a lure or hook or a quick dip in the water

I was fishing with my girlfriend and she was using one of my combos, rod cost $150 and the reel was $80. She was fishing and texting and somehow left the pole by the water along with te tackle bag. She sees the bag when we r in the car and she hops out to get it but didn't see the rod. We went to the mall and did some shopping for few hours and then got something to eat. Then we drive to another fishing spot that's on the other side of town. We get there I take my pile out and she realizes she left the pole!! This is 6hrs later and we left it at a pond in an apartment complex, Wells Lake. I'm bugging out how my set up was gone we drive back and it's sitting right where she left it fortunately So my story happened to turn out good sorry to hear the ones that ended badly.

I don't think a minimum is necessary this isn't the bass masters tournament lol This is fun no stipulations except measure the fish and have fun.

That's what I was thinking MCS LOL. There are puddle sized ponds in OP that hold double digit fish. Disney being a multi billion dollar company I am sure they have put quite a few double digit bass in there not to mention any that have grown on their own.

Welcome to Jax and welcome to the forums. Check out some of the threads I believe there are a few on Jacksonville fishing. Also basically any pond you see in apartment complexes and neighborhoods all hold bass, and a lot of them don't get fished. Not sure if you have a smart phone but google earth is what I use when I am out to find new spots. If you don't simply use the Internet and write down some locations you see close to you using google earth.

Unfortunately a lot of people have this same problem they've been saying in our last competitions

Yea but with that guy from Maine we don't stand a chance!!! His smallest fish was like 21" only a few of us had 21" fish in the history of our FL comp. Hopefully the big girls want to play in October with this cooler weather here in FL
