Anybody been hitting the lakes lately? Any updates on any of the local lakes? If anyone has an open backseat Friday or Saturday I would be more than happy to join.

I need some help and opinions from anyone. I have a 100.00 gift card to bass pro that I plan on using tomorrow when I take my son. If you had to decide which of the 2 reels is better which would it be? Im not worried about spening the extra money on the revo s so long as its a better reel. Thanks for your opinions.

I just recently got out of the army moved from Kansas back to middle tn. I havent been able to fish very much here. I really got into bass fishing when i was stationed up in kansas. I dont know the middle tn area lakes to well and would love to hear from everyone currently living and fishing here. I think it would be great if we could use this topic as a kind of reporting place for local lakes. I am boatless and am trying to get that fixed right now. But maybe we could use this to have a get together for a local just for fun tournament, or just a way to get together with some fellow bass enthusiast.

Hello everyone. I asked a few questions in another thread about a few of the bigger lakes in middle tn. I was just wondering if there were any other smaller lakes in middle tn that provide good bass fishing. If anyone is willing to share some of there good spots I would greatly appreciate it. Well, we went to Tims ford and man was it tough. I got skunked but my father in law was at least able to boat a few fish. We will be fishing other lakes like percy preiest and old hickory as well if anyone has any tips they would be greatly appreciated.

I have just gotten out of the Army after doing 5 years. Most of time was spent in KS where i picked up bass fishing again. I have really gotten into it the past couple years and man to I love it. I really never fished TN much, though when i did it was usually in a friends pond or lake. My father in law loves to bass fish as well. We plan on making a trip to Tims Ford tomorrow morning and i was wondering if anyone had any advice right now. Where should we start? Does anyone have any recent reports? We also tried fishing the TN river last week, with very little success. Could someone tell me a good place to fish there as well? Thanks for the help in advance.

I had a great time with bluebasser at Wabaunsee. We had a pretty good night and morning of fishing. To bad that will probably be the only time I will get to fish with him. He is quite the angler and if he ever offers to fish with you take him up on it. I will be leaving the military and the Kansas area on the 5th of August to move back home to Tennessee. Until then, if anyone has a open spot on there boat around the fort riley manhattan are please let me know, as i would love to do some fishing before i go back to the "real world". I would love to fish wabaunsee with someone if they would like to give it a shot. If not you guys have been some pretty friendly guys, and wish everyone the best.

Hello everyone. The old pro qualifier i bought used when i got back from deployment broke, and i have been looking at some new baitcasters. I found a guy willing to sell me a completely rebuilt and serviced curado 200b for 65 dollars. I was wondering if these reels were worth the money? Thanks ahead of time.

That is great. Thanks Clayton. The top one is of my buddy. That is a 7lber. the bottome one is me and that is a 5 1/2 lber. This is a great lake guys, i wont be here for it but you guys should for sure go.

I know i dont post to much on here, but i constantly look on here for everyones updates. I talk to Bluebasser quite a bit as well through pm's. I took his advice about a month ago and decided to give it a go. Let me just say it paid off big time. My friend and I have caught multiple 4lb, and 5lb bass and he even got him a beautiufl 7lb bass. Went again today and I caught my personal best. I know its not to much bigger then my last PB of 5lb but she weighed in at 5 1/2 lbs. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone. Not sure how to post a picture or I would.

Hey everyone. I was wondering how everyone lubricates there flourocarbon lines? I was also wondering if there were any other products you can use such as stuff around the house? Would reel butter work well as a lubricant? Thanks ahead of time.
