I have never used a swim jig and was thinking of trying a few out this year. I love the quality and customer service with siebert jigs, so I will go through them for sure. Like I said I am new to swim jigs, I was wondering what weight is a good all around weight as well as color? Thanks in advance.

Well. I threw everything in the boat at those smallmouth and only came away with 2 white bass on a spoon jig. Water temp was 39-43. It was a cold day of fishing as well. Cloudy all day with a high of about 49. No skunk overall but sure did get skunked by those smallies. Hopefully ill have better luck in a couple more weeks when the water warms a little.

Hello, I am going to be fishing at Milford Lake in Kansas. The water temperature should be around 46-48 degrees. I have never gone fishing for smallmouth like this and was wondering what kind of baits i should be fishing as well as tactics and everything else? Thanks and all the help is appreciated.

Hello everyone, Im not sure if this is allowed to be posted here or if i should post elsewhere. Mods if i am wrong please correct me. I recently got back from deployment and it appears that all bulk ammo for sale is at an all time high (which is understandable). I was hoping some fellow bassresource members had a great amount of ammo they would be willing to sell at a non inflated price. I am also interested in some pmags if anyone has some for sale. Im getting tbe itch pretty good now. Im off work for 30 days so im gonna do some bank fishing a lot this month. Im excited about the get together i just hope someones got some room on there boat. Good luck to everyone.

This sounds like a blast for sure. I should be able to go for either date depending on what the Army decides to throw at me around that time. I like a few others im sure would like to be able to tag along on someones boat if possible. I dont know much about any of these lakes ill have to look them up and cast my vote.

Hey guys, I was doing a real entry level cleaning of my baitcasters and apparently i pulled to hard something b/c i cant seem to find 1 of my pins on my brake system. Does anyone know where i can purchase these seeing how i cant find it. Thanks in advance.

I know there has been tons of previous topics on this i just want to know if this is a good reel to learn how to use a baitcaster on? I already have 3 Pro Qualifiers i just havent had the chance to use them because im waiting on my rods to get here. I have a 100 dollar gift card to Bass Pro and trying to figure out how to use it. Throughout my military career i have used m24 sniper rifle, m110, m2010, barrett .50, and other long range sniper rifles. Those guns are all very reliable and nice guns. My personal rifle is a Knights Armament sr-15 mod 1 that should be coming in anytime now. Very, Very nice and reliable AR.

I have never ridden in a kayak before but i have canoed quite a bit. I dont know anything about kayaks so i was looking for some advice on this kayak. I was looking for a boat, but the wife says no right now so i guess i have to settle for something like this. Just wanted to know if anyone had any experience with this kayak and if they could tell me whether its a good price or not. Also how big of a lake/ pond could i use this in? Im not really sure what type or brand of rod to get for a topwater rod. Looking to get a rod thats not gonna break the bank either. Like 75 or less. Thanks guys.

Its a 1988 javelin bass boat with 100hp Evinrude. With a new trolling motor and trailer. Has been garaged kept its entire life so he says. The picture looks real nice. Need some help though guys. Ive been searching for my first boat and wanted it to be a jon boat b/c of price but this seems like it could be a deal to good to pass on? Thoughts?

Thanks everyone for the help I really appreciate it. Ive been pretty caught up with work and have been trying to get my hand of quite a few guns. I really like everyones ideas and will take them all into consideration. My wife of course says i dont need it since im spending money on new rods, guns, and everything else (just got back from deployment..buying to much stuff...hah). My budget really is more like a 12". But I will look on craigslist for a while and ask you guys before pulling the trigger on anything. Thanks again and i will update my profile.
