Bps Pro Qualifier Bc Reel – 5-Year Challenge – Time To Pay The Piper!
Great report! Better than the reviews on TackleTour. I'll never knock a BP reel. I've got a Nitro reel/rod combo that I bought back in 2009 that I use for froggin in the trash and it works just as good today as when it was new. Their reels built in Korea are good quality and affordable reels.

Why So Few Floating Plastic Worms?
Remember the Terminator Cyber Flex baits? Man, I miss those baits, I use to haul em in using their lizard and creature baits. I think some other company (VMC maybe?) bought the company and then shut the line down. I also remember that you couldn't mix them with other plastics or they would melt, but other than that, they would float up to the sky.

Pitching And Flipping From A Canoe
If pitching or flipping from a sit-on-top kayak while seated is possible, then pitching from a canoe should be a breeze.

Soft Plastic Storage Bag
I've used just about every type of binder on the market and if binders are your storage of choice I don't think you can beat the Shimano Baraja Tackle Binder for quality. They cost more but they are buikt tough. However, if you need something easier to get into, the Plano 4807 speedbag is the way to go. I fish out of yak more than my boat and I needed something easy to store and get into and this bag works for me. I keep the baits in their original package and throw them into this bag. It's large enough to hold all the soft plastics I'll need for a day on the lake.

Ima Roumba
Got these last year on the recommendation of someone here on the forum. Landed a couple of good wallhangers on the stink bug, (upper left) but the other two have yet to get wet. This lure really vibrates and has a crazy action when you crank it down.

Swimbaits...which Do You Use, How Do You Rig?
Don't forget the hard bodied swimbaits. I'm impressed with the action of the LC 125 and have caught a few decent bass on the Nishiki (red head). They make a version without a lip, but I don't like the action. The one with the lip can be worked like a pointer or a steady retrieve.

How To Store Jigs?
X2 It's hard to beat the Plano 3700s for storing jigs.

Help Me Break Away From Rapalas
I still collect Rapala cranks, but other than the older Risto Raps and Fat Raps I seldom use them. I mainly use LC and Bomber cranks today and for durability the Bombers are hard to beat when you're wanting to crash into logs and rocks.

Different Types Of Topwater Baits
I use the baits previously mentioned. I was also turned on to these Lucky Craft wake baits almost two years back and have caught quite a few bass on them.

Love it when a bass comes up out of the water during a fight...great catch and great video!- Lures For Xmas...ohhh Yeah

I will not deny that this lure is expensive when compared with other lures and it may or may not catch more fish. The Hula Popper is a fine top water lure and I've used it many times over the past 40+ years. I am, however, an avid collector of lures and have been collecting them for as many years as I've been fishing. Some people are crazy about stamps, I'm crazy about lures and I'm always looking for lures that are unique when compared with other lures in the same class. This lure has a water intake/gill feature that makes it unique in both appearence and performance, both which are attractive to me as an angler and collector.- Lures For Xmas...ohhh Yeah
Can't wait for the top water bite to turn on again...- I Think Im A Abu-Garcia Guy Now
I've always been a Shimano user, but after playing with the Abu Garcia Premier baitcaster at BP last week I think I'm going to pull the trigger on one. That reel is every bit as smooth as the Calais reels I use. - 2013 Resolution
