Honestly being a fireman is an awesome career, especially a paid full time department.. We do have a very dangerous job but its very rewarding. The time off is a bonus also I work basically 10-11 days out of the month 24 hours at a time. It's split up like this 24 hrs on and 24hrs off we do this in 3day splits and have 4 days off in a row. Go with what will make you happy, that's important because many people hate going to work and hate their jobs. I believe Baylor university has a fire science program and being in Texas is a bonus. Good luck with what ever you decide....

Met Edwin Evers at basspro here in Memphis, he's far from being a jerk. Pretty nice guy and gave ya some good tips. He does seem like that though especially after last season MLF when he got ticked at the camera man, but I believe that was jus the competitive spirit.

Depends how deep I've thrown KvD 1.5 in this type of structure. Water was around 5-7 ft deep

I have curado 200E and just got a chronarch, I love my chronarch! Easy to throw and casts a country mile it's just a great reel, very impressed.

I like that place but the snakes last year kept me away somewhat..

Tried the Jika Rig today at pickwick had one break my line.... It was a good fish whatever it was but didn't get many bites on it. Will keep on using this technique I enjoyed it.
