  3. Also another thought on the subject a lot of times dad used to keep ice on the fish for a day or two then clean em.. Bass always tasted fine year round I'm like some if your bass is tasting like mud, weeds,etc it's time to fire your chef... Some egg wash with milk add some Louisiana hot sauce to the egg wash dip the fish roll it in some corn meal zatarins and Martha white mix hot oil and it's on and poppin..
  4. After leaving Ky lake today we stopped by Carroll county lake and spent an hour on it.. Definitely was full no dam breakage.. Caught one dink and decided it was too hot and decided to get home.. Good looking lake!
  5. Murderer I do the same if I gut hook one and it's legal I keep it.. But what kills me when the one that's in the slot are hurt and you got to release it per state laws..

  9. I caught a few on the bug yesterday they do work my only complaint I have is these Kentucky lake bass just tear them up... If that's a complaint.. I rigged it up on a strike king knuckle head...

  12. My favorite guys are EE, Kreit, Timmy Horton. Recently I've been paying big attention to Keith Combs, Randy Hanes and just now really discovering Greg Hackney.(who's been around awhile now) Heroes growing up were of course Dance, Houston and Martin.

  17. Big dark 10-12'inch worms are money Texas rigged or a Carolina rig at night.. Back in the the day when I was a tadpole dad used to take me out night fishing on Sardis and Grenada lake in Miss and all we threw was the big Tom Manns jelly worms with great results, haven't done much night fishing as I got older but it's time to do it again.. It's hot as a murf here in Tennessee

  20. OP I just recently learned the alberto knot because I love braid.... that way I can use fluro as a leader for all my needs that calls for flouro. I have 2 rigged up with braid one with a fluro and 1 all 12lb fluro invisx and 1 12 mono. I find this fits my needs with these four set ups especially summertime applications.. Are you saying that flouro is not sensitive also when it comes to cranking?

  22. Thanks didn't mean to get into a great debate after watching MLF today and while Duckett was advertising he had me second guessing lol I think I'll keep it and if I don't like it I'll sell or trade it..
