When I don't get a bite on my crank or spinnerbait I just change my pace up just reel in slowly and even go to my soft plastics and drag em on the bottom if not getting a bite in a couple hours

My fishing buddy would have to bring a cooler full of ice cold beer must b Coors light. And share tips with each other. Btw I allow buddies on my boat just have to bring a case of beer n that is there fee

99 degrees here and humid. i would certainly trade u that temp and the rain with out a problem. We in northern va have not had a good amount of rain the past month or so lake and pond water levels are lower than normal. even the creeks that feed into the ponds and lakes some of them are dry

yeh im about to do the samething. bass pro shop is about an hr away from me so i might have to make a trip down there one of these days. im waiting to buy a boat so i can try a couple tourneys and see how i like it. only if i get promoted then ill splurge on a bass boat lol

yeh u really cant go wrong with rage tail i have nothing but good things to say about em.. i have been trying to find the rage space monkey shad and lizard but my local sporting goods store just carries craws and the chunks just the color black and blue?! i need some variety lol

yep have beat my personal best not once but twice this week. weed beds have been the most giving during this crazy heat going through right now

been catching solid size bass the last couple days with a northstar jig black and blue with a match rage tail claw. it has been working mircales for me.. caught my personal best here in northern va friday after noon with the temp at 105 and 115pm on a spinner bait. the hawg even straightend out my spinner. mainly have been fishing the outer edges of the weed beds and the fallen tree here and there if i can find any

Yeh ur are talking about reservoir rd right shimmy? And I know there is a cove to the right of the ramp. But on another note I have broke my personal best twice this week in a matter of a day apart. So I've had a lot of bass with good size quality and quantity. caught a 3 pounder out of a little pond off of 29. And caught a 4 pounder at lake Braddock today around 1 that crushed my white spinner bait and even straightened my spinner such a hog

hmm ive been fishing at braddock a while back n didnt notice any signs but i lived out there 4 years ago but it could have changed since then

yeh i know thats what im worried about getting.. i was planning on going today when i get off work but ill just not and go out to burke and fish over there somewhere probably royal braddock or huntsman.. been thinking about lake meyer but i havnt heard anything about it =/

yep i agree i dont have a boat or canoe so it will b hard for me to find some deep water structure, but then again i can always wade out into the water a little bit i guess?

yeh same here ill probably make the drive there in a week or 2 and make it a full day trip depending on when i am done moving into my new home

k i have heard that from a couple of people now about lake frederick. does any1 know anything about lake alder in ashburn va or lake brittle?

if u can do a guesstimate on the girth of the fish u can use the fish weight calculator and will give u some type of idea

yeh it does really suck i have had a lot of luck going there around 8pm and catching some decent size bass. im all for catch and release when it comes to bass. i believe there is probably some bigger bass in that little lake if they are still around and not fried up in the kitchen

I have never heard of lake Frederick. I'll have to keep that lake in mind and venture out there some point. I just started bass fishing pretty much this year. So its new to me.. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated just pm me. But does lake Frederick have boat rentals and is it have high pressured?

haha yeh i put some on after i found them crawling up my legs.. next time i am going to wear long pants so i dont have to worry about posion ivy. aand i went to that spot and i was just killing the spot and towards the d**n. ill have to go earlier in the day to explore some fishing spots

just beaverdam u cant really shore fish unless u want to be covered in ticks. but u can walk the dirt road to the dam. but the little pond u are talking about i have not fished it before but i might have to keep that in mind for later in the week adventure. the perch at beaverdam are agressive i was catching them left n right off my swim bait. but its worth going there u get a chance to get away from all the traffic n noise thats in the area

which little pond are u talking about near beaverdam? there is 2 or 3 going down resivoir rd to the the lake. if there is another way plz let me know

there is a couple places in burke to fish burke lake lake braddock lake royal lake mercer and lake accotink. a little past clifton there is fountainhead park.. burke and fountainhead offer boat rentals if u do not have a boat. i also live in chantilly off of lees corner road but plan on moving in a couple weeks. i would google maps the area that isnt too far from u as there are a couple ponds around this area but have yet to fish them. I plant too once i am done with my spring softball league

i went out to lake royal last night around 730.. didnt catch a thing.. i saw 3-4 people with stringers filled with 2-3 pounders
