A 66 medium might make a sweet too water rig. I want to have tons of tip though. How's the 66 mediums gen 1 in the tip?

That small if a jig, I would say use a grub of some kind. I use Berkely Havoc Subwoofers. Not sure how it would look on a smaller swim jig. I only use 1/2 oz so I wouldn't know. I recommend North Stars jigs myself. Fantastic quality and the swims come in some amazing colors. I would say that with the amount of respect on this board has for Seiberts jigs, give them a shot too. Never used one, but the overall consenses of the board is positive on them.

To the original poster, try 3-4 models first to see if you like them. Give white a shot. If it works on a spinnerbait in your waters chances are it will work with a chatterbait. Check academy sports. They have sales on chatterbaits all the time. I bought 9 Zman's for 1.50 a piece last month.

I use the internal tube weights an a Gammy skip gap hook around cover. I don't think there is any difference in the drop of the bait as having a weight pegged outside the tube. If not cover I use a weighted hook like the SK's or the like.

I had a bit of trouble with one of my Chronarchs but my revos were not too bad. I licked the handle and they went on quick fast. Que the smart elec comments now lol

7 yards? My kid has two Zebo 33's that cast 20 plus yards and they were like 8 bucks a piece. He catches plenty of 3 plus pound bass on them. Sometimes the little guy out catches me What are you running rod and reel wise?

That and look for sales. I don't fish crankbaits but about 20-30% of the year so I only buy when there is a sale. At Bass Pro's classic sale, I got 15 Bomber Square bill A's for 2 bucks a pop. Found a bunch of various series 4 and 5 SK's for 1.29 a piece.
