Crankbait Knot
Shaw Grigsby knot for everything, With 40 pound braid, I can almost flatten a 3x 30 degree round bend hook with it before the line breaks. I have not had the knot fail yet. Line breaks before the knot.

Best Bass Attractant?
I don't like sprays as they contain oil. Never worked well for me. I use Megastrike on jigs trailers and plastics. It's a cream type. Order less and colorless. I also use some on my hands to mask my scent when I touch plastics. Not sure if it helps, but it makes me feel better. And it works for scents like I use when deer hunting. When I want something different or to give it some color, I use JJ's in chartreuse. It's a garlic scented dipping dye. Reeks something good!

Sufix Elite Or Siege?
On spinning gear the Elite was easier to manage. On casting I didn't notice a difference. You would think no as its more stiff etc, but I couldn't tell. I never got over 14 pounds though.

Hook Size Concerning Drop Shot Fishing.
X2. I use a #2 VMC spin shot hook for baits like a finesse or trick worm, Strike King dream shot etc. For a rage craw or larger, I go with a 4/0 Mustad ultra lock hook.

Sufix Elite Or Siege?
Cranks I'd prefer a tuff line. Especially shallow square bills and lipless since you are going to be dragging them threw the nasty bouncing off cover etc. More abrasion resistant. I like about 15-17 pound for these. The siege, in my opinion would be better suited for it. Drop shot is more finesse and a softer line is what I prefer. The Elite would be better suited for drop shot. 15-17 pound might be a bit much for drop shot. It will work and catch fish. If you don't have another rig, it will work.

Sufix Elite Or Siege?
What will you be throwing? How heavy? The elite is more soft and easy managing where as the siege is tuff. If I was to use mono and open water drop shot or finesse, I'd go Elite.

65Lb Braid Not Pitching Well... Advice?
Mono and fluoro lines have a slick surface and will come through the guides easier. I have only one rod that's not braid and when I pitch with it, it will travel further than my braided rods. I also use power pro slick. It's smoother but I don't know if it will help give you want you need.

65Lb Braid Not Pitching Well... Advice?
All I use is 40 for jigs now. I have used 50-65 with no issues. I don't use anything but 1/2 oz jigs so in my opinion it's not the line if your using 3/8 I don't know anything about a Lews reel, but have you checked the breaks on it to see if they are turned up etc? When you say your not gettting what you feel is good distance, what are you comparing it too? Were you pitching same jigs on fluoro or mono?

Nscb Black Series Jig Underwater
Yep! No problem

Nscb Black Series Jig Underwater
Your going to want to use a swim jig. The Fliping jig uses an alien head design for brush and timber. The head is wider to deflect off cover better. The swim jigs and the flip n swim jigs use a narrow head letting it burn through weeds and grass much eaiser. If you have that pond scum or moss stuff, I haven't found anything that will go through it without getting buggered up.

Braid?
I've used every secret decoder ring I have to decifer what you said, but I assume your asking if the newer braid will harm your rod and reel. Short answer is no. Ive never had any issues with it. Just watch for wear marks on the guides after hard use.

Academy Has Its Own Personal Bait Monkeys
They have been having some killer deals lately. I buy all my Havoc baits from them, except for one color, when they go on sale. It seems like once a month they are on sale.

What Size Braided Line For Swim Jig?
No it's a myth in my opinion. I use 30 for cranking and 40 for my jigs.

Xcite Baits?
I've got some of the raptor tail chucks. They are pretty good trailers. Claws float and they are pretty durable.

How Do You Become Good At A New Technique
I take that bait or rig that I am trying to master out and leave everything else at home. I will watch videos on youtube, listen to pros and ask questions here. I will fish it until I get the confidence I need. I am by no means a master or have mastered anything except heckling a ref at a bball game , but you get the point.

The Infamous Jig
This! I start off with a swim jig to cover as much water as I can, then switch to a fliping jig and find anything cover wise to throw it into. Then I'll drag it and see if can find something to drag it over or through. I'll switch to a squarebill and depending on if I get hit but no takers, I'll go small or finesse. I always go back to a jig and the last cast is always with a swim jig. I do this year round. I really don't think you can throw it too much. There are so many different prey you can immitate with a jig.

Trailer For Northstar New Gill Swim Jig
The Subwoofer in Alabama Craw color is a dead ringer for it. They are only trailer I use for the Flip and Swims. Action is amazing. The pictures don't do it justice though. Go to Tackle Warehouse's website and look at the picture of the Alabama Craw. Its spot on for the color

Nice Trailer Alternative To Rage Tail Or Speed Craw
Here is my opinion on the whole pro Strike King on this board. When I first joined last year, it was Strike King or go home. Everything else was not worth your coin, was what I took from it. I tried several other products and would not purchase anything Strike King because of the general crappy attitude towards other brands here. That was last year. I decided to buy a few SK products. I was very impressed with it all. Then I came across several threads by Big O, who is Steve Parks, one of the lead designers from SK. The guy is on here all the time. Answering questions, helping people out and giving his opinions. He talks to you like a friend, not a know it all jerk, like some big names I've talked with. Then came the first time I had an issue with one of their products about 8 months ago. One call to Mark Copley and the problem was fixed super fast. Mark talked to me like a friend not a customer. He didn't bend over backwards and kiss my butt, but rather treated me like a friend. That goes a long way with me. Fast forward to last month. Another small issue with a crank bait. The way I was treated by Steve and Mark was great again. I have the same type of deal with North Star Custom Baits. Both Chris and Vinny have helped me time and time again with questions and help. Chris has treated me like hes known me for years. I work in Customer Service. Have so all my life. Being treated like I treat people will go miles with me and that tends to bring people to absolute loyalty. I will never buy another jig in my life that doesn't come from North Star. Are there better jigs out there, maybe, but for me, its different. Same goes for SK. If they make what I want, I will never go with anyone else.

Which One Of These Rods?
Yep. I didn't want to push anything else on you that you didn't want. The *** has been turning some serious heads around here lately. A few other forums I frequent, have been talking it up too. At 100 bucks its a good deal. I bought an Avid cranking rod this month and was tickled pink. I started looking at other St. Croix rods and the mojo felt really good. I am in the market for a 6'8"-7" Medium Xfast rod and the Mojo is looking very good for that. Its right at 100 dollars too. I have a Shimao Clarus rod too. I love that sucker. It was about 80 dollars and comes with Shimano's life time over the counter replacement warranty. Its a step down from the Compre rods, but I can't see the extra 20 dollars for it. The clarus is super light, sensitive and black too The Clarus rods are technique specific so it will help in deciding what you want it for.

Too Much Stuff
I've been pushing the jigs hard this year more so that any other year of my life. They have been my confidence bait when nothing else, even live bait for bottom feeders, works. However this year, I am starting to run cranks alot more. I only have 7 combos, so I usually bring all of them. I may only use 2-3 but I have it. I have been also, bringing one rod, with one style of bait and only using it to gain confidence too.

Which One Of These Rods?
No problem. Out of those 3, the best over all quality would be the Sellus. It doesn't have the Shimano Life time warranty, but when it comes to the durability and non issues the Veritas has been having lately, its a steal at 50-60. Its heavier than the Veritas and the Vendetta too. If you can find a Veritas that doesn't have chipping of the epoxy or miss aligned guides, they are a great rod at 100 dollars. If you do have problems with it, Abu Garcia stands behind it so it will be fixed or replaced. I know you mentioned those 3 rods only, but at 100 dollars, the market is open to many many awesome quality rods at 100 dollars.
