my uncle does the same thing when we go out but i bank fish,haha its kind of annoying tho but i guess that what happens i do see myself turning to a conventional style, i think im lunker hunting for life.

Yeah there's been a few times I just felt like catching fish but I'll be targeting big bass solely this fall. Got my huds, slammmers, a few big jigs and big worms. What do you normally throw Swimbait wise?

HEck yeah keep throwing , that was one of the night baits that had me stumped for a while t- rigged worms or plastics. this year i made it point fish the t-rigged worms at night. Learned really quick that how effective it can be. I was fishing a smaller pond around 5 acres dead of the night a few days after a new moon probably a steady 15-25 mph wind was to my back , i was throwing a small 6 inch ribbon tail , i swear it was cast after cast really opened my eye! tight lines man~!!

i do all winter for the most part but after the winter had this year me and my uncle are going to give ice fishing a solid go

thanks man!! haha i know right I;m a true believer and don't see my self down sizing unless i get in some john boat tourneys, but then I'm prob going to fish a few swimbaits and bigger baits only

I posted in the NE reports but didn't get a lot of views, which my reasoning was i wanted to share my fish to others to show those of you who live in the north fishing our waters with a bigger presentation can lead to bigger fish. Not saying small baits don' t catch fish but don't be scared to try bigger. I've caught big bass from beetle spins with a grub to my biggest bait a 9 inch slammer. If you've been wanting to try bigger bait do it ! i waited along time and spent a majority of my time just fishing for any bass all throughout my childhood and teenage years, but about 3 years ago i started messing around with bigger stuff and it has paid off for me. It has opened my eyes to a new way of fishing and has tremendously help my fishing in such a short amount of time. The first two pics I'm posting is a fish i just got about an hour ago on big mop jig with a huge brush hog as a trailer. This is 9 inch slammer fish in a 10 acre farm pond don't be scared to try new stuff, fish weighed about 1 pound

I've been meaning to text you, I got the guy last week. But since we talked I've been throwing that thing for hours and hours abd hours etc..... I've had a few days windy cloudy cool,during night and day no even a follower. I,swear,I tried dead sicking that thing for at least 5 mins in between rips,jerks or a quick reel Down. I,fished in all kids of conditions including rain. But I was waking it back to shore on the hottest day this month blue bird sky's post frontal midday too. IM going out now to throw the slammer and Chatterbait there crushing chatterbait for me at night steady retrieve about 4 fow

Yeah I have a long bed truck. That's around the price I was thinking as well. I mean the hole defiantly needs to be fixed I'll tell. Him about I'm sure he doesn't know,its there other than that it's n pretty good shape I think a could get a few years out of it. Think,that thing would do alright with a little motor on the back?

Looking to pic this up I asked the farmer last night and he said ,make him in offer and its mine. But to be honest i don't know what its worth. its old and has been sitting outside for years. Which I'm amusing he'll let me get it for cheap. It floats , no leaks it just needs some TLC. Only problem i can see is a small hole on the top left of the bow. its been used alot and has dents and dings all over it. what do you think a reasonable offer would be?
