  1. Grand Haven, Michigan. Located on the shores of Lake Michigan, 30 minutes from Grand Rapids.
  2. Around 35 feet with a dropshot. Between 20-35 feet is pretty common around here in the summer.
  3. I would love the get out west and try the California Delta.
  4. About those pike, you probally won't have to use a leader for the spinnerbait. The shape of the bait usually prevents a pike from getting its teeth on your line. With the crankbait, its a roll of the dice.
  5. I think you got the wrong impression. I was just trying to help, not imply you didn't know how to tie a knot. Also, I run a split shot/drop shot hook, not the finesse wide gap model. But if you are 100%, I would'nt change a thing.
  6. I like the carolina rig or a drop shot. They get down fast, stay down, and you can really feel the bottom.
  7. A 1/0 hook seems pretty big to me. Are you nose hooking your baits? I use Gamakatsu drop shot hooks, but a size 1 is as big as I go for nose hooking. They stand out perfect if you tie a palomar knot and run the tag end back through the eye from top to bottom.
  8. 60# power pro and a 7'6" flipping stick with a Sumo Frog on the end. The best combo I've used, but you'll still bat around .500. By the way, that superior frog will NOT work in heavy cover, it rides hook down.
  9. ISG Dream tubes, although still hollow, have super thick walls and are loaded with salt. The Strike King Wild Thang is a tube like bait with a solid head for easier rigging.
  10. pontoon, no cup holders on a jetski Yamaha or Mercury?
  11. I'm in on the strike. I am already sitting out the BASS Opens for the way they are running things.
