  1. Didn't catch my personal best yesterday (about 8 years ago actually) but I'd say she yesterdays catch was a comfortable 3lbs Casted from bank across to a grass peak/ledge sticking out into the water and I think I landed on top of her head lol Just went back out this morning around 7am and fished a honey hole where a neighbor showed me a picture of 8-9lb they caught. Crazy how they actually live in these sets of retention ponds. Only caught 2; just dinkers. GF caught 4 dinkers and a 2lber, atleast she was happy so trip was worth it. and they are def close to shore early in the morning! Change about 9am-10am... I might actually go back in the thick of heat and try and catch a biggin
  2. Well dropped my girlfriend off to work @ 10 and hit a set of local retention ponds where I have my caught my PB at. Slow start to the day, probably 5 or 6 one-two pound bass but around 12:30 was hit by this toad! Running a Watermelon Senko, texas rigged BTW, hotter than a you know what out there!!
  3. Fishing out of New Port Richey (Pasco County) Been registered on the forum a while, just now getting into really posting Anybody fish Pasco or Hernando county before?
  4. Anyone fish out here in this hell hole New Port Richey?
  5. I would of loved to catch each one of those! How many pounds is the last one?
  6. I started off early this morning around 11AM, caught about 10 bass today. Main thing is, they were ranging from 0.5lb to 2.0lb.... all on trick worms. How can I try to lure in the bigger bass around here? I uploaded yesterdays trip to my youtube channel below.
  7. You too man, I'm heading out today to go catch some good videos of fishing and hopefully catch a few nice ones.
  8. It looks like the pond is outside of a commercial building or something. I haven't had much luck fishing those here in the Tampa area.
  9. Most likely is a snakehead! I've had to same happen to me here in Florida.
  10. Well I'm getting ready to start my season off. Got a new HD camera and some new tackle to start a YouTube freshwater bass fishing series. I want everybody's opinion and what would make the videos different from the Captain Shane's of the world. Any constructive criticism is greatly appreciated. Thanks
  11. I went out again last night and was able to catch a few small bass... this one being my biggest...
  12. I might head out today, hoping for some good luck and some good pictures. Hopefully the heat will not affect the fish that much..
  13. Went out around 1:00pm today and only fished for about an hour and a half but, I was able to make one catch within the first 30 mins. Judging from the background and there being alot of submergent vegetation aswell... what are some good baits to use here? I'm catching them at a pretty good rate on the zoom trick junebug color... but nothing else is working..
  14. thanks man, good luck to you too
  15. Well I broke the curse, cause I caught about 5 bass ranging from 1lb to 2.5lb at about 1pm-4pm with a original zoom trick junebug

  19. How about for early morning like 7am? And their is some docks across the lake at a diff park and its heavily weeded about 4ft deep.... infested with gators... still in Lake Tarpon waters.. good place to fish??
  20. So I got up at around 6:00am this morning and headed out to Lake Tarpon to fish. The red square is where Im fishing.. Started at about 7:30, on live worms... no luck... I then switched through a bunch of diff baits such as topwater frog, blue/black spinner bait, gold/orange minnow lure, plastic worm fire n ice, red shad... I kept seeing a big fish hit the surface every 15 mins down the river ... but no luck... And I've already tried shiners... And if I fish the open water say off a pier or something what would the best bait be? Ill be out tomrrow morning
  21. There is a dog track on racetrack too lol
  22. Well, you guys have convinced me it isn't the best idea in the box. So I got some other ideas right now, but I'm going to sit back and think about it. An online bass fishing tournament website with prizes is near the top of the list right now..
  23. Are you talking about in the Tampa, FL area?
  24. Nah, but I'll be headed out this weekend and following week to find em.
  25. Ok thanks Sam. So if I decide to go on a snakehead trip would chicken liver be the best bait?
