Always catch a cpuple fish around one pipe underwater. I figured a jig would work to flip around the pipe. What kind of jig? Its a clear pond and i use watermelon red for texas rigs with sucess. So i think a brown colored jig with a craw trailer? Any tips?

I have a pop r that has half the paint off and the base is like a bone color, should i scrape it off too make it all bone? No other popper in my box catches fish like this one. I really dont want to trash it.

I never use leaders or backing i use just plain power pro green and i put electric tape or athlete tape on the reel spool. Never had problems

Do these things just catch our eyes or they really catch fish? I use kvd 1.5 bluegill and do okay i guess. But are these live target bluegill cranks worth it?

Well here in louisiana every neighboorhood has a pond with fountains and i think i might start doing that in other neiighboorhoods than mines.

I have a pond that alot of people in the neighboorhood fish and i swim to the fountains once a month and find cranks or mostly spooks and poppers hooked up on the fountains ropes that hold them down, i usually clean the baits up and change treble hooks, and ive caughten fish on many of them. I have to say i atleast have gotten 50 dollars in cranks and spooks,
