I want it to last a few years of use and how hard is it to clean? I clean my reels every week after i use them

I want to spend 100-150 on whole setup for topwater, so a 50 dollar reel would be amazing, how long have yall had yall mettles for?

I might fish a frog.once for every 20 times i go, ill just use my topwater rod when i have to

I need a cheaper reel to do a little topwater. Anybodt used the h2o express mettle?

I use my 6'6" right now and u have problems with my tip hitting the water, would a 6 foot be fine? Also what action and all?

Well i mostly use spooks and poppers so im not going to buy a heavy duty frog rod, i barely fish frogs anyways

Zoom makes the super hog

Ive been using a bait called a super hog anybody heard of it?

I would use this rod for super spook jrs and pop-rs and maybe a couple times a frog when theres alot of junk.. I dont want my rod to be hitting the waterand i cant afford all kind of rods for each bait. I just want one for generally super spook jrs and pop-rs and occasionaly a frog

I like your setups man, maybe get a topwater setup? For spooks, poppers, and buzzbaits just my 2 cents

i have never drop shotted or carolina rig in my life to be honest.

there are no weeds its a clear pond i usually work the dropoff

any baits that not too many people know about or you make yourself?

went out today for an hour and used a weighted texas rigged yum dinger (watermelon red) caught 4 slowly popping them off the bottum

i use texas rigged zoom u tail worms, baby brush hogs,and ribbontail worms all in watermelon red. the 4 pounder in my profile picture was caught on a baby brush hog. i have caught about 15 bass total since i started fishing it 2 weeks ago.

i fished topwater many times at sun up and caught 2 one morning and none ever again. i tried spooks, buzzbaits, and pop r. i caught a 4 pounder 2 days ago on a baby brush hog watermelon red. im just looking to catch more fish because i catch one every few days or so. pond is about a mile long and 50 yards wide and has 3 fountains in middle and i usually fish drop off with soft plastics. lots of bream, shad,and baby bass. I was thinking about trying a zoom fluke? any tips or help would be appreciated.
