I got a h2o mettle and i hooked on bottum with a crankbait and i pulled and the reel made a grinding noise and now it reels like it would have sand in it.

What kind of Topwater baits?

My pond has no structure or lilly pads or junk. Could i use it as a buzzbait with the legs?

Can i walk it or can i fish it some other way?

Sun up to about 7:00 you should try a pop r and if that doesnt work a super spook jr would work.

My personal faborite is a rebel pop r. Just wanted everybodys opinion.

I looked at them today and opened them up! They seem really durable and brakes like shimanos and easy to clean

What one works best for you? Why?

I know i catch fish in my.pond with any soft plastic watermelon color, so i think a natural color would work

I know i should probally start a new topic but would a 7 foot medium heavy work for spinnerbaits?

Will the carbon fiber handle fit the old revos?

It says 12-20 pound and goes up to 3/4 ounce, could it possibly be the reel?

I am using a shimano caenan and a 6'6" medium rod and 3/8 ounce spinnerbaits feel so heavy and it feels like im reeling in a brick, any tips? Everything is set right idk why it does this

Deffinitly get a 7'2" for flipping and pitching unless your used to a longer rod

Just IMHO i only use mediums and 6'6" i get the best action from my soft plastics

I forgot to intuduce myself when i first started posting, im 15, i live in baton rouge louisiana and if you live around me tell me, i fish 3-4 days a week im lucky enough to have a pond in my back yard. Im really starting to like this forum. Thats about it guys

Man i am really thinking about one but i dont see many reviews like the black max has. For 50 dollars i think i eill try one to use for my topwaters.
