The Fishing Dead
Agreed, half of me didn't want him to get up in the first episode, he's fallen so far from what he was. I'm hoping the focus the scope a little bit on key characters. Theres quite a few I could care less whether they make it or not. Heck, little pycho girl can go anytime.

Spinnerbait Vs Jig
For what its worth, I catch a ton more pike/muskie on spinnerbaits while bass fishing then I do jigs. To some that's not a issue, but if your out specifically targeting one fish and consitantly getting bit by another it can be annoying. I've got a box full of spinnerbaits that rarely gets opened while bass fishing for that reason. If I'm targeting pike however, its a must have. I'm in no way saying jigs don't get bit by pike, they will, but in my experience the jig is the better BASS bait.

Big Inline Spinners
They still work here lol. I do tend to take less while bass fishing though. Spinners seem to be the ultimate pike bait for me.

Rod Help...matching With Curado 50E
My first thought was medium fast for all purpose, but I'm mostly a St. Croix guy, so that would be mh in a lot of line ups. I would mount it if you can before you buy the rod. My 50e ended up on a ml xf 6'9" rod, and a big part of it was "feel". $100, I think most will recommend the *** stick. I haven't used one myself, in that price range I'd look for a deal on a Fenwick Elite Tech Smallmouth. They also fit the weight range you mentioned rather well. The 6'10" mf one is rated 1/8-5/8

H2O Express Mettle/squarebill Question
The mettle performs well. The gf has been using the mettle and a older silver max, much prefers the mettle. The little I've used it, I wouldn't hesitate to get one if it fit my budget.

Hollow Body Frog "niche" Guys- A ? Or Two
I'd say my numbers are close to what Mark and others have mentioned. I rarely come unbuttoned, and I don't see how these pros do. If your counting strikes as any blow up in the general area, then yeah, maybe 60%. But as stated, don't retrieve when you see a strike. Let it sit and a lot of the time they'll come back and inhale it.

Light Braid And Baitcasters
Tried going under 20lb and didn't care for it. No digging, I just thought if I'm going that light I will probably be using a spinning rod. So more of a rule of thumb for me at 20lbs.

Power Team Craw D'oevure...?
Got some late season last year, they performed well with the falling water temps here in NW Wisconsin. To me they fit what your looking for nicely. I've really enjoyed the Power Team bait line of baits since giving them a go last season.

The Fishing Dead
I think it'd be locked already if it was Sam. Actually getting the word politician in the thread might lock it up by itself lol.

The Fishing Dead
Not sure if the zombies or my gf will get Carl first! Lol she hates the kid at this point. It'll be interesting to see if the angry young man is somewhat reformed after nearly losing his las link to life before zombies.

Anyone Here Repair And Clean Up Reels?
+whatever we're up to for Mike at DVT. He's a class act and does a great job. Has both cleaned a reel and built a rod for me, very satisfied on both counts.

Best Brand Of Braided Line
I do the same as hooligan. If I see PowerPro or Suffix on sale I'll probably pick it up, even if I don't need it immediately, I know I'll need it down the road.

Dropshot: Braid With Leader Or Straight Fluoro?
I don't always dropshot, but when I do, I dropshot with a flouro leader. Stay manageable my friends.

7 To 1 Reel
Look at line retrieval rate for the reel in question. One brands 7:1 is another's 6:4 or 6:1.

Trilence Xl Pro Fluoro & Spro Fat Papa 55
That cell mate pattern worked well for me last season, can't wait to give it a go when ice is out!

How Far Up The Line (Shimano Guys Look And Speak)
I'm very leery of in store models. Was it out of a box or one mounted to play with? Lots of kids and the like beat on those.

Which Lube For You?
I use bantam oil for the most part with shimano grease. PS congrats on one of the funniest thread titles yet!

Drop Shot Weights
I fish a lot of soft bottoms and, in my experience, the cylindrical style performed better. The ball and tear drop tended to make a impact crater and sit there quite snuggly. Take this with a grain of salt though, as drop shot tends to be a last resort for me.

Beginner Pike Lures
Like Mark said, just come to WI and throw anything. Seriously, they will hit it. I don't think theres a lure in my rotation that hasn't caught pike at some point. If specifically going for them I'd pick a spinnerbait, not inline, in white, chartreuse, maybe a hint of red. Another to give a shot is a lipless crank like Felix mentioned. Wide wobble with a quick retrieve, preferably in a perch or firetiger pattern around my parts does well.
