Bps Qualifier Crankshaft Moves To Easily
I went way off in left field with this going back reading what I wrote. It's just the shaft that moves up and down. I have not really used my poles in 2 years due getting hurt. Maybe I forgot how the baitcasters feel. I just pulled out a brand new qualifier I just ordered never used or took it apart, and it has that little movement roof I try to push and pull a little.

Bps Qualifier Crankshaft Moves To Easily
Here's a quick video. I'm terrible at describing things. I just don't ever recall this moving up and down like this.

Bps Qualifier Crankshaft Moves To Easily
I hope this is the correct section for this. I cleaned up all my reels, and only 1 has a problem. The silver part with the gear ratio etc moves up, and down to much, and it's annoying. I took the reel apart, and it just seems very odd that I believe it's the crank shaft (long metal shaft that everything slides right on). I wobble it so easily like something is broken. I have taken apart one of my brand new ones, and it does the same thing, but I don't recall it being as bad. Also it's such a pain in the butt trying to put back together. The other smaller silver/metal part were the 2 clip things go is so hard taken off and putting back on. It just gets stuck at same location every time like I need to run s grinder across part of the shaft that sticks out a little more then the opposite side so it slides easy again, and I know that can't be right, nor will I do it unless it is the only thing that can be done, just can't figure out how the thing would have expanded enough to cause a problem like this. If this sounds like it is a problem with the drive shaft, can it be replaced, and is it cheap? I really don't feel like sending it in to bass pro shops unless I can run to the new location in Atlantic city and drop it off since it should be under warranty, unless cleaning the reels voids it taken them apart. I have checked all screws securing the gear shaft to make sure they are tight. The only thing I have not done is take the last few pieces off to see the actual drive shaft it self.

Best Flurocarbon Brand
I fell in love with pline. I have only used seaguar, Berkley, and pline, and I hate the other 2. I know their are several types of so called fluro or invisible, or what ever else they may call it. assume some are not a true fluro. biggest problem I had with Berkley is the memory is a pain even with line conditioner. my neighbor at my summer home fishes tournament's all over, and loves Berkeley, but their fluorocarbon is just terrible. I have not had a problem with P line yet. been using it for 2 years now, this upcoming bass season will be the start of my 3rd year using it. price is not bad either. only I think $40 for 2,000 yard or so, I have to check. I was going to order more, but noticed I guess they also have more then 1 selection as well in fluorocarbon unless they changed the look. I got it on ebay. a lot of the line on their if you get from I think its tackle warehouse if you buy in big spools you can find some very good deals.

Loking To Get A Few New Rods, Can Use Some Advice On My Spec Selection
sorry, im out of town with limited access to a computer. I already have rods now, just don't have any specifically for crank bait, and I was only looking at getting 2 for cranks, unless 1 will do the trick. I was only going to get a random 3rd just to get the deal, but its over. did not realize it was 12 hour only deal. yes, I was referring to the rod selection thread for the size of pole. again though, this is not just 3 rods for that I have to use. I have 6. just got back into bass fishing again 2 years ago so been starting to buy a few rods/reels here, and a few there. does the glass rod even matter with cranks? If I can save the $30 or so then I will.

Loking To Get A Few New Rods, Can Use Some Advice On My Spec Selection
I have been reading the rod selection for all my new rods I add to my arsenal, but today it just seems out dated. it was talking about how you should have 2 crank rods, 6'8, paired with a 3.6 speed or something like that, and a 7'0 rod. the slower gear ratio was for deep cranks, and the 7'0, but no reel ratio was for lipless cranks. I fell in love with st. Croix, and that's what majority of my rods are. I am the type that once I find what I like, and am comfortable with, I don't want to switch it up. so I was looking at the st Croix glass crank rods, and non are 6'8. their 6'10 7'4 7'8 I checked on bass pro shops, and all the carbon fiber rods are this dimension. is this a new standard? the article I was reading was saying its best to have carbon rods for crank baits, and that's the route I was going to go. I got an email from dicks sporting goods. 1 rod 10% off 2 rods 15% off 3 rods 25% off figured if I could save close to $100 if I got 3 rods I would add some more rods. any advice on what I actually should be looking for. I want to get some recommendations before I waist a lot of money. also what gear ratio reel I should pair with. also for top water, what rod/reel ratio is best? I have been reading the st. Croix website, but don't want to just take their word for it how their selection is set up telling you what each rod, and size action etc is for.

Whats The Better Gear Ratio For Worms/senkos?
im lazy, and am going to add 2 more rods/reels to the collection one for worms, and another strictly for texas rig senkos. instead of constantly changing hooks etc. I been looking at the bps pro qualifier, and it comes in 3 different gear speeds. do you generally want a slower speed or faster? appreciate any help/advice.

Need To Be Refreshed On New Line And Backlashes With Baitcasters
Good news and some dumb news . Problems fixed Issue: i was rushing trying to get done by dark oiling up the reel , and putting fresh line on I had the gear in backwards on the tiny knob by reel . Works great now , and I see what you mean by it should be easier with more line . I'm casting probably twice as far not even trying to go far .

Need To Be Refreshed On New Line And Backlashes With Baitcasters
My revo needed new line so I replaced it after doing maintenance etc. filled it up to the max , and i put line conditioner on yet it still would bAck lash . At least I think it's backlash . The line will just get real lose then get caught up eventually. I don't know if one knob is even working for the free fall. I'm using a senko , and listen it to point it will come out it free falls, get it as tight as I can, and it still free falls . The drag is set . If I recall this happened when I first got the real too, and I recall it seeming like it was easier to cast the less line I had on it , and to a certain point when I think I only had. 80-100 yards left on it I did not even have to keep my thumb on spool and it was fine . Yes I know you are not supposed that , and I did have my thumb on spool tonight . It's been 2 years since I last fished . Got hurt last year, and missed the whole season so I forgot what the fix was .

Senko Question Size
yea same here gy work best for me occasionally kvds version in june bug will do the trick but thing i hate and cant stand is really $7 for a pack of senkos that will only last 1 fish if there aggresive. on average i only get about 2 3 fish max if im lucky even with wacky rigging they tear to easy compared to some of my worms i get i think are 10 packs and are onyl $2.99 and i can get 6 fish before its time ti replace them.

Senko Question Size
okay cool. just another quick one is there much of a difference performance wise from the senkos and the blue pack kumani or something liek that looks like like a senko and it says made by gary y, and they are a bit cheaper. was hoping dicks would have there half off sale or at leas offer me it but they didnt and they have those 2 now to choose from unless i never noticed the other pack before.

Senko Question Size
hello. im getting ready to stock up on soem more senkos. i fish in south jersey is this helps. was just curious since there are so many senkos what the popular goto one is 4" 5" etc, when i was looking on a site to order i noticed they had 2 different senkos a slim and regular as well the 6 pack and another smaller 10 pack i believe. i dont really notice a bad color vs goo dcolor because i mainly only use black or green pumpkin i never really tryed any other colors out since there so expensive i know they hit black and green pumkin so i just been sticking to them. foudn a site that has them half off so figured now is the time to stock up for upcoming season. tryed askign 2 people i know who fish with them and turns out they just buy $200 worth and buy every single pack size there is of every color.
