Looks like I may have a new fishing partner lol…I live in Annapolis

Its a place in Annapolis, MD called Water works. Its hands down my favorite place to fish. You have to buy quarterly or month passes to get in, but its worth it. Sometimes its just me out there for alone 4-6hours. That bass in the icon is the first I caught outta there. Biggest LM I caught outta there was prob 5-6lbs…there 8-10 pounders in the waters.

Yep…I was throwing a black/blue jig, I didnt get any hits.

Went out over the past few days. No luck, but Its SOOO nice to just be back out there fishing. I uploaded a couple videos thats I recorded this afternoon.

Greetings, I will be visiting Elizabeth City this weekend and I wanted to know if anyone knows of any good places to fish (mainly Bass fishing/non-boater). Thanks

Hey Sean, I want to get a rod thats good for texas rig/jigs and a rod thats good for swim/jerk baits.

Thanks everyone, I didnt even think about taking them to BPS to do such. I think ill do that once I receive the Okuma in the mail. Ill take a look at those rods that where mentioned also. I do alot of texas riggin and jig fishing. I use swim baits alot also. Drop shot fishing ill stick to a spinning reel. Ill spend $130-140 on a rod. Thanks again

Just picked up 2 new baitcasting reels. I had one when I was a kid (11 or 12 years old) d**n thing frustrated me and i never thought of using one since. I purchased the Abu Garcia Black Max 2 6.4:1 ratio and 4+1 bearing system. I also purchased a Okuma Krios 7.3:1 ratio and 5+1 bearing system. I need to buy rods for them both, any suggestions? Thanks

Thanks Sean, right now I only have spinning rods..it doesnt work as good as a baitcaster does with frogs. Ill prob pick up a nice baitcast setup next week. I went out again today for a few hours, I ordered a few new hand poured worms from this company in IL. http://www.draginbai...orms/vibe-worm/ Didnt hook into any hoggs, but I managed to catch 6 around this size.

Went fishing after work. Had a good day, caught 3 decent fish. Missed a few blow up's with the frog.

Man I had a hawg break my line off today...I was at local spot Water Works park out here in Annapolis. I was using a senko wacky rig style, 8lb fluorocarbon P-line floroclear. I hooked it and lost it pulling it through the lilly. My buddy caught a 8lb largemouth there last week. I lost one last month the same way, after that I told myself Im going to get some braided line. Fool me once, shame on you..fool me twice, shame on me. Im going to get some braided line!

At BH, I see people talking about "backwash" and "the sticks" im sure they are spots in the area. How easy are they to find?

Thanks FatBoy, after viewing the history i'm going to give BH a try in a few weeks.

Greetings all, Im in the Annapolis area. Right now I only know of a few bass spots in the area to fish for bass. Water Works park, Tuckahoe state park are the only two spots ive found decent large mouth. Im a non-boater so that hurts. Anyone know of any other good spots? Thanks Brandon
