Swimbait Help?
Thanks for the links! I like the looks of them, the hyrdas look a little bit more expensive. Thanks a ton! Because of the any fish kinda catching with these swimbaits, is that why you run 15lb fluro because you never know what will bite it?Especially toothed fish? or is that for feel and horsing them in?

Swimbait Help?
I've seen berkley ripple shads before and some lesser quality swimbaits I think! As being a low money flow 15 year old, something cheap but effective is what im looking for. Could you possibly give me a list or some links to cheaper swimbaits like the berkleys, and other brands. Im fine with ordering offline and testing them personaly, I just dont want to order something completely useless with my knowledge..

Froggin
I'm a fifteen year old male from northern Wisconsin. I've been fishing pretty hard for 2 years now, mainly bass and walleye. Everything I know about fishing has come from reading books, internet, and self experience. Never was taught by my father or grandpa or male figure. So here I am today with a question for someone with lots of knowledge. I see all these bass masters using topwater frogs and I watch in awe at how effective they are, but whenever I try them I never get anything. Can someone give me some more info about what kinda setup line wise and retreive wise to be most effective?

Swimbait Help?
I'm a fifteen year old male from northern Wisconsin. I've been fishing pretty hard now for 2 years now, mainly bass and walleye. I'm a self-taught angler; everything I know about fishing has come from reading books, internet, and self experience. Never was taught by my father or grandpa or male figure. So here I am today with a question for someone with lots of knowledge. I've done most of my fishing with hard lures like jerkbaits and crankbaits, and some plastic worms wacky rigged, but seeing all these swimbaits I began to wonder what if I could add that to my inventory and arsenal.. 1.) Good swimbaits to use brand wise 2.) Tackle, Hook sizes, weights, lines, ect. 3.) Places to use and wayst to fish 4.) Lengths, colors, and retrieves. Any information would be a help!

Braided Line, Fluro, Mono?
Thanks a ton! On the spool of my baitcaster just take some electrical tape and wrap it around so it will dig and catch into it? And just 100% braid on the caster no leader?.. Would spooling braid on a spinning outfit with a 6ft mono leader give me a stronger hookset and better sensitivity?

Braided Line, Fluro, Mono?
I'm a fifteen year old male from northern Wisconsin. I've been fishing hardcore for 2 years now, mainly bass and walleye. Everything I know about fishing has come from reading books, internet, and self experience. Never was taught by my father or grandpa or male figure. So here I am today with a question for someone with lots of knowledge. I use a 2 spinning outfits and one baitcasting outfit while fishing; all which spooled with 8-10lb mono, because of price and lack of knowledge of other lines. I understand the stretch of mono, sinking of fluro, and sensitivity of fluro. I'm now willing to spend the extra money on new lines for better results but have no clue what is the most benificial. I tend to use lots of crankbaits, jerkbaits, and wacky rigged 5 inch worms.. I am very capable of tying a double uni knot to make a leader or just tie lines together for a backing but I have no clue when to use it and which what other kind of line? I've heard lots about how you cant use braided line completely because it'll dig into the spool or slip? What do I use for a backing and how much? I dont have a lot of money flow so cheaper ways of spooling but most effective would be the preferd method. Now for Leaders; What to use for what, how long of a leader, and i've heard that some lines (mostly braided) can scare fish away when fluro is near invisbile? What about mono? Any information on any of these topics would be much appreciated..
