I was wondering if anyone knows how to take the side plates off of the sol's and fuego's to lube the bearings. I took the screws out and popped the screw loose from the clutches but the side plate stays there. Does it flip up? down? or pop completely off somehow? much appriciated if you folks can help me out thanks

does anyone out there in boatland have any tips or ideas on wht to use to clean my aluminum bass boat? i wanna realy make it shine. would a car buffer work?

i was walkin through the fishing sectoin yesterday and i noticed the gary yamamoto ikas. they kinda resemble a tube i guess. i was wandering if you fished them the same way you would a tube or if there was any other ways in doing so. if there is please lemme know

ive been looking into getting a diawa sol with some christmas money i have laying around. i need a new spinnerbait reel and i was wondering if anyone would give me thier opinion on whether or not it would work well on a spinnerbait setup or not. i have a fuego right now that i love for throwing crankbaits with. what do you folks think? Hi, I am from southwestern Pennsylvania and 21 years of age. I have been fishing competitively since I have been 12 years old with my dad in a buddy circut of 102 members. At the age of 14, I placed 8th indiviually which I think is pretty darn good. But, at this point in my life I am currently fishing a B.A.S.S. affiliated club and am currently placed 2nd in standings for the year. I currently work for UPS and FEDX FREIGHT(both partime).I have always said that i want to wake up and go to work but with these two companies I do not enjoy waking up to go to work. Bass fishing is my passion and I will never trade it for anything. So therefore I need some people/companies to help me out. I am not asking for much but i will advertise strongly and my friends will support me with whatever it takes to accomplish my goals which is my passion for bass fishing. I have two references, one from from California. His name is Porter Hall and he used to fish the western B.A.S.S. circut as a pro. I have not talked to his for a few months, but I know he will help me out with whatever I need if I cannot do anyting for my self in sponsorships. The second is Lee Murray from Lock 3 Bait and Tackle in Pittsbugh, Pa.He has been fishing B.A.S.S. tournaments for quite some time now thruogh the mid 80's up until a couple years ago. I know it may take a while for my dream to come true if it does at all but at this point in my life I am willing to givce it a shot. I have a highschool diploma and a college associates degree in criminal justice. If there are any companies out there that are willing to give me a chance I can guarentee that I will not disappoint. do i still have to repack the bearing by hand or can i just fill it with grease through the grease fitting?
