Jason Kidd Retires
Guess i was never that impressed with watching his game. Yeah he could fill a stat sheet but on a bad team that happens quite a bit....And don't get me wrong i would have loved him to play on the sixers but i think he falls into one of those guys who are really good but you couldn't build a team around them.

Seems weird to me but everyone is different on that type of stuff.

Jason Kidd Retires
You sure you are talking about the same grant hill? He was good but never scored nearly as much as lebron or assists or rebounds. Now granted, lebron is probably the most talented player ever to step on the court but hill was nothing more than a few seasons of great basketball then riddled by injuries but i give him credit for realizing that and doing what he could to continue competing.

Why are you spending any time with her? When i made my ex my ex we cut ties completely/ Granted, we didn't have kids but if i made a decision that it was not going to work out in a marriage then there is no way i am going to be friends.

Jason Kidd Retires
Jason Kidd was awesome...one of the few players who didn't get triple doubles because of points in his career. And while i agree his basketball IQ was off the charts, as most good point guards are, his regular IQ i don't think was that great. I remember him trying to get into Cal and i want to say it took him 5-6 tries to get the required 800, or whatever it is, on SAT for minimum admission requirements. Grant Hill.....comes from a long line of what could have beens from Duke. Seemed like a nice guy and was always a great role player but never panned out to be the stud he was supposed to be. I will never forget sitting in the spectrum and watching him throw that pass to Christian Laetner in the elite 8 for the game winning shot against kentucky.....it was also the same time i lost all respect for Laetner after he stepped on that guy too.....good memories :)

Senko Tip -101

Swim Jig Question...
I am rapidly becoming a swim jig fan this year too. One thing i have noticed is that the seibert jigs are great and top quality but I actually prefer the Northstar swim jigs. THe yseem to come through cover a little better in my experience. I will say that after catching a few on the seibert jigs i did pick up a bunch and cannot wait to use them more often this summer. As far as which head works better to me, in my self proclaimed limited experience, you want a lower profile head rather than a football or brush head. The swim jig specific heads seem to come through cover better. I have also been using solid body swimbatis as my swim jig trailers and i like the action and little bit of vibration that they provide but from reading all the posts on here it seems like pretty much anything will work so experiment, and have fun

Jika Rig
I was also intrigued on the Jika rig and it's supposed excellence in coming through grass. I had some Bass Pro gift cards so i went in and picked up some stuff to rig up a few. I got to throw it once and i will say that i have never used a bait that comes through grass as easily and without snags or picking up vegetation like this rig. Now i didn't catch anything but i think that was more because i found a really good crankbait bite that particular day but i definitely plan on using it more this summer and i have no doubt that it sill be a good bait for fishing deeper vegetation.

Pro Qualifier And Bass Pro
That is Bass Pro service for you. I have had some issues with rods before that broke while casting and went in and they replaced them no questions asked.

Powhatan Lakes Any Good?
I was a little shocked as you seem to be the guru for all central VA fishing spots And who needs a big motor when you have arms that paddle :D

How Do You Know If Your Website Is Working
Keep in mind too that to get at the top of the searches you need to pay to get there, it doesn't happen for free.

Polorized Sun Glasses?
Good sunglasses are as important to me as my paddle in my kayak. I do not like amber lenses myself as they are not the best in lowlight conditions. My preference is something in the Rose Copper family with a mirrored lens. It gives you the best in all conditions and is especially good in lower light situations where an amber lens will be to dark. Also unless the medical staff fishes then i really don't put to much weight on what they are saying because they are just regurgitating what is told to them by the various other sales reps of the glasses. I picked up a pair of Costa 580s in green mirror and i see no need to change out or try another brand as they are better than the various others i have used like, Smith, Oakley, Native, Maui Jim etc....

How Do You Know If Your Website Is Working
Your website is only part of the online marketing puzzle. You need to get your website at the top of search engines for particular terms and also the creation of banner ads helps too. All of this costs money though and once the customer gets there are they going to like your site and be able to move through it easily an make purchases quickly and without a hassle. I do a lot of marketing analytics for the website of the company I work for (larger bank) and 700 hits is not many at all for a month. Now granted we pay for advertising etc...but if we saw that low in an hour period we would probably think there were problems with the tracking or the site itself. One thing I will advise is to create a "dashboard" of your online performance and have that associated with sales and any changes you made in product, advertising etc...then you can truly monitor performance

Transducer For Kayak
Haven't used that particular one or a cuda but i rigged my transducer of the back of my commander using a CB antenna spring. Pretty straightforward installation and cheap. So far it has done pretty well and always snaps back into place after hitting an underwater obstruction.

Powhatan Lakes Any Good?
Not sure which diascund reservoir Sam is referring to but the one in New Kent it is NOT off I-95 but off 64/rt60. http://www.dgif.virginia.gov/fishing/waterbodies/display.asp?id=41§ion=maps Also, Sandy does allow motors under 10hp and under as does briery creek.

The Pennants Are Flying, As Is The Trash, And Apparently There Is A Team In Houston
I get ticked too because i get the MLB package and i don't get all the games for the same reason you listed above. With 162 games in a season i should be able to see every game for $200. Now that i think about it, i wonder if they would have more subscribers if they would lower the price to about $125 and make it for just one team or pay the full price for all teams.....on the other hand i really only watch one team and still pay full pop so what do i know lol

Thumb Itching After Handling Large Bass?
lol this has to be the funniest question i have ever seen on any forum......I believe what you are referring to i always called "bass thumb" it is a good thing to have and i will be proud to have it any chance i get. I haven't noticed a difference in larger versus smaller fish but for me it is when i have a good numbers day and my thumb gets tore up from the bass "teeth".

The Pennants Are Flying, As Is The Trash, And Apparently There Is A Team In Houston
I was looking at stats the other day and i had to refresh my browser a few times and check a few sites because i had no clue that hte phillies were first in teh league in quality starts. This team baffles me and Brown is playing like all the hype he had for the past few years......good thing i shave my head or i wouldn't have any hair left.

Powhatan Lakes Any Good?
Both the powhatan lakes and amelia are worth checking out. Personally if i am going to Amelia i just drive a little further and hit either sandy, briery or bear creek lake myself as they seem to have better fish in them than Amelia but to be fair, i have only fished amelia a handful of times. The two powhatan lakes are good and i have caught citation sized bass out of both of them Another good option in the Richmond area is DIacund reservoir. It is a very large reservoir but it is electric only so very friendly to the kahyaking crowd. It can be pretty tricky to find the fish but once you do, you can have a day to remember. There is also one of the best set of lilly pad fields in the area at the far north west arm that is awesome but does require a good 4 mile paddle to get there but it is definitely worth the trip and there is some really good fishing along het way as well.

Senko Rod
i like a st croix rage in, you guessed it, 6'8" MXF which is the same blank as the avid. I really prefer the XF action for weightless techniques.

Favorite Early Morning Bass Set Ups?
Buzzbaits, jitterbugs and zara spooks are my favorite when the topwater bite is on, otherwise it is just start fishing for the day because generally by 6am the sun is up over the horizon this time of year.

Does This Look A Little Overkill?
I have seen quite a few of the single and double inline versions but i don't think i have seen the double Y set up except when i tried a stanley Bull ribbit when i lost a skirt on a double buzzer before. Good luck and let us know how you do!!

Swim Jig Trailers?
I am relatively new to the swim jig fold but I have had good success with 3.5" yum money minnows and here recently the stankxbaitco swanx solid body swimbait after shortening it about an inch or so.

Inside Rod Holders For A Jeep Wrangler Unlimited?
So i recently picked up a jeep wrangler unlimited and i am looking for a way to mount the rods horizontally using the roll bars so i don' have to fold down a seat to transport my rods. I picked up a few rod holders that i think will work but i wanted to see if anyone out there has done or seen a set up. There is a decent amount of headroom so i don't see them being a problem in the ceiling area. Thanks
