  1. Only show I watch on TV besides Sons of Anarchy and Hell on Wheels. Love this show! And can't wait until the new season starts tonight!
  2. I haven't been striper fishing in so long! Good luck though! From what I hear, they are still slamming them on the east end of the Canal.
  3. Well the jig worked wonders. I was only fishing in maybe 5-6' of water but I ended up catching 4 bass all around 2-1/2 lbs. Not big ones, but hey, they're fish. Used a 1/4 oz Black/Blue Strike King jig with a Green Pumpkin Sapphire Rage Craw as the trailer. Hope you're having some luck!
  4. I've never really used spinnerbaits all that much maybe I'll throw one on tomorrow for the hell of it if nothing is biting haha.
  5. I am also planning on going out tomorrow and sunday. I'll probably start out with a frog, but depending on how that goes I'll end up fishing as deep as I can get with some jigs, craws, or flukes. I have been having good luck lately with the 5" Disco Violet Zoom Super Flukes, just fishing them slow and fairly deep.
  6. Hey y'all. I was wondering if y'all have any suggestions for ponds/lakes/anything that can be fished from shore. Unfortunately, I don't own a boat, canoe, or kayak, so fishing from shore or river banks is my only option, unless I go out fishing with my buddy who has a canoe, but he only wants to fish one place with the canoe. I have fished most places in the immediate area (I'm from Brockton) so DW Fields, Ames Long Pond, the Nip, Robbins Pond, Carver Pond, Great Quitticas, Pocksha Pond, Snipatuit, etc. I've just been looking to expand my search and try some new places and thought I'd ask. Haven't really had that many bites in the past few days, and I'm getting bored of going to the same places all the time haha. Thanks folks!
  7. Hey y'all, My name is Steve. I'm 23 years old and I live in Southeastern Massachusetts. I've been fishing since I was able to walk haha. My father would take me fishing all the time when I was a kid and I've been hooked ever since, pun intended. Since my father is an avid fly fisherman I have done much more fly fishing than I have traditional fishing. He built me my own fly rod when I was just 8 years old, which I still have and use. I started getting into bass fishing more seriously only a few years ago when I met my best friend who has proven himself to be a skilled fisherman. I found this website thanks to Glenn May's youtube channel and decided to check it out and both the website and his videos have already helped me enormously! Looking forward to spending a lot of time here and talking to y'all. Thanks and have a great day, Steve
