  2. We usually fish just below the route 1 bridge. Access to the river from the park or on the north side from the Falmouth Flats parking area. If you are staying later in the evening the park closes and gets locked but you can park outside and walk down.
  3. A couple of weeks ago i got a spool of trilene 100% fc for 4 bucks spool of trilene for 3 bucks and about 45 packs of mustad ultra point power lock plus weighted hooks in 2/0 to 5/0 for 1 dollar a piece. At that price you have to buy them out.
  4. Im fishing in a Jr. Bass tournament on the Chickahominy river next sunday and don't have the ability to practice the day before. If somebody who has fished it around this time of year give me a crash course on the river it would be greatly appreciated

  6. If you don't want to spend the money for the LTB try the St Croix mojo bass big cranker. the specs on it are about the same as the LTB its just 2 inches shorter. I throw big deep divers on it all the time. its a great rod for 130 bucks.
  7. LTB is really good also but if you can get the extreme for that price go with that

  13. It was too good of a deal worst comes to worst I use it for leaders finesse fishing I never thought about jerkbaits I normally throw those with 40# power pro
  14. I was at walmart tonite and was in the fishing section when I noticed the clearance section I ended up geting a spool of trilene 100% FC for 4 dollars question is if it is to light for a baitcaster any input would be great thanks

  19. I was looking through the St Croix website today and I happened to find my way into the premier musky rods. As I was looking through it I saw an XXXH rod with a line rating of 60-100# and a lure weight of 8-30 ounces. What would you need something that heavy for?
  20. I think the main reason I don't like it is the braid itself, the BPS XPS braid is flat and bleeds everywhere compared to Power Pro( which is what I have on every other setup) I might try some Yo Zuri also how good is the sensitivity, abrasion resistance, etc.. Thanks for all the input.
  21. I have my spinnerbait rod spooled with 20 pound bps xps braid. It works fine but the abraision resistance isn't very good at all, also i feel like the bait is not running as deep as it could because of the line. Any suggestions would be great thanks
