  3. Im going to look at a 16 foot aluminum bass boat tomorrow. Everything on it is in good working order with many having been replaced, the only thing that is wrong with it is the trim on the motor does not work is it cheap to fix or should i look at another boat any imput would be greatly appreciated thanks.

  8. You will not be disappointed I have four of them that I use for tournaments there an outstanding reel for a 100 bucks that will hold up to the abuse of fishing
  9. Definitely go with braid. Feel so many more strikes now that I use it.

  13. The mojos are a great rod i use the 6,6 jig and worm rod and flip and pitch with it all the time. plus it has a perfect tip and all the sensitivity and quality of a st croix rod
  14. white and any frog colors work for me
  15. i use braid for all of my setups minus a spinnerbait and it made a grinding compared to the whistling of all my other St croix

  18. I fish the shad run on the rappahanock river every year this year instead of fly fishing for them I know there are things called shad darts that people use to catch them. Does anyone use them if so how do you fish them? Or are there better lures for it if anyone could give me some feedback it would be appreciated thanks

  20. I was digging around the basement the other day and found this lure in the basement. I think it's a bill Lewis rat-l-trap. Only wierd thing is it has a lip. If anyone has one or knows what it is if you could let me know thanks.
  21. Being a former flyfisherman all homemade top water baits are with a single hook you can't beat a old cork popper
  22. I love to fish a lipless crank it's probably my favorite bait I normally always have a rod with one on it. I guess it was the hooks because I've never had that problem before

  24. tried again today with new mustad treble hooks and the result was completely different i landed about ten and losing only one. The lure was new and i guess the hooks were the problem. i have never had any touble before using the method to set the hook as i normally would with a nice slow sideways set. when i look at the old hooks i noticed that one of the shanks on the rear treble was bent outwards which may have been the problem.
