  1. I had my first encounter with the " bad herb " the Poison Ivy, I know for some of you guys this not an issue because you guys have some water craft, but fishing from the river bank soon or later you will see the " letter V, three leaves " and for Me is not fun, My alergic reaction is bad to this plant and always is ending with a visit to the doctor office. I have had one this week. Any old tips and tricks other that run away on this herb ?... I heard that some hikers drink some medicine before the trip to the woods, and some others the poison Ivy is not an issue at all... BUT for Me it is a BIG issue. Any tips and tricks to share ?... ( yeah, I know. BUY a boat ) Thanks guys.

  4. Try some fishing after work, weather was great. Try some new top water lure and I did have some good luck, pack my gear and start my way back home riding my bike. In my way back I saw some potential spot and I try convince myself that it was a great spot for my last cast, after 1.5 second I was working my top ware lure, second cast and BOM, " fish ON " and after some fight and out of the water jump I have a nice LMB 2.13 #'er. One more time I win on the last cast, " remember guys always try you last one before you GO!" Good luck and see ya around!!!

  14. X2 - H/yakker, that is the real problem of this tool.
  15. Yes, it is a way to do it from Google map and you can save you own locations. You will save it for public view or private for you only. BUT you need a google log-in, after I open this link I have like 1 qrt of the window open to my Left and one option for "My places" and under that is " save to my places " if I like to keep this map that I just open. Note: If you don't see that open space with the option for " my places " take a look on top of the computer window, on the top-left corner of the map on this link, it should be a arrow " show panel " click that and will open the panel with the options. ( the single arrow, not the one to move the map up-down-left or right ) Let me know if work ?... sorry for my " INGLES " guys, English is my second Language. I hope help somehow.
  16. My good sharp machete and the braided line on top of log, LOL , LOL Nah, I use my pocket knife. if is sharp will work, I always keep it sharp. You never know when you will need it on the woods. I'm a bank river/lake fisherman dude.

  21. and end up as a great catch day, nice!!
  22. Boat storage is a killer here ( NOVA ) I have few friend that at some point they have some nice boats but the storage was just a pain on the bones, one of the manager at the place that I work have his boat out side on the parking lot, and at one point the owner of the facility was in his case. I'm on the same road like you, I do have a garage but is full of camping stuff and 4-bike, I did have one raft but was not a good option for family of 4, fishing standing was not good. This past weekend I was at one of the sports retails stores they have one nice " jon boat " plastic. It looks ok, but will need some storage too. I probable will be on the jon boat option ( but not the plastic ) but I learn here that Potomac River is to BIG for a JB. WE need some back yard
  23. Great tips and tricks, I fish a lot on plastic lures and bottom fishing you guys just put Me back to my early year on bass fishing, the line was moving to my left, the weight was on the line and "BOM" set the hook... And the " L " came up, loser lost a great fish probably a 5er, I will say I don't have a great sensitive fingers and I know that is a problem but I can scan the line. I'm still working on feeling the fish swiming around the bait. Great post, thanks guys.
