One last question guys... the " stability " for a Kayak and a canoe it is the same if the width is the same ?... Let say a canoe and a kayak with 36" of w. For fishing standing is that the same stability ?... If you guys can send Me some info. on this will be great. Thanks guys !!

You can search for " fishing punta cana " and one company for fishing marlin came up ( we can't not post links here ) but I hope you can pull the information too. Not sure if those guys are good I travel to DR but never see any people fishing but I know that the next trip for me will be a try for fishing ( will try some shore fishing and some fresh water ) I know for sure that you will have fun fishing or NOT.

... an please guys if you or you family are around the river keep in mind that water is water and always is dangerous do not let no one rest on experience. Last year here in Virginia we have one accident ( tragedy ) on the news... a family was walking a trail in the river shore they stop at some point and some how a shoes went down the water was not a deep area but the currents in the Potomac river are bad and the story end up in tragedy. I fish a lot fron the river bank and some time I have my little ones with me, it looks funny but most of the time they are with PFD I will never take a chance. I'm not in a boat but around the water... just my 2c.

Guys I need some help here, I will get one canoe this year ( I hope soon ) it is the best option for Me, after I put all the up and downs I'm looking at one canoe I would like to go with square canoe for the option of motor down the road but I know that with one of the brackets ( mounting ) I will be able to add the motor to a regular ( not square ) canoe but my question " if the motor in NOT in the back of the canoe, like the square option will make any difference ? " at this moment I'm only looking to the canoe and if some extra cash is around I know that I would like a fish-finder too, but the main question for now is the motor position HELP please Thanks guys,

Welcome, You can fish by the Reagan Airport, you can find a lot of spots around that area BUT remember you need a DC lic. to fish that area. The only fish I see people pull at that side of the reiver is catfish they are there and some good size ( not monsters ) but good size. Google " Four Mile Run VA " it is around the Reagan too.

Great catch... AND you never know what you will find on NOVA ponds. Great job, I'm still under 4#er this year.

Some of the neighborhood around here if you fish with someone that is resident from the community you are ok, too. But most comunity is for residents only and they will call the police.
