I know that the guys in my class love to fish. And knew of camping site we could easily get too. So I asked my leaders and then they asked the guys. Got a BIG yes from the both of them. We are gonna teach some survival skills and just have a great time. Thanks for the help Jay White

@ 6 dollars spinners aren't cheap. Especially for a guy that has never fished them. I want to but Im scared because they cost so much. If you could help me out and let me know some good spinners I may just try one out.

50 acres...so No Sir it's not that big of an area and I can walk around...I've scoped the water using google maps and I went up there before everybody had a chance to go...which they wont be able to until the 19th of October. At most from what I'm understanding the deepest part is 15' and it has rained in Ga for a couple of days.

Me and my SS Class have decided to take a camp trip and also have a bass fishing tournament. It will probably be me and a 15 guys. Boats are not allowed and the biggest fish caught wins the challenge. Now compared to these guys I've bass fished actual tournaments, but I have never seen none of these guys fish. I only use a baitcasters and carry only 1 spinning reel. They all use spinning, and they hate baitcasters. I still have respect for them; because I haven't seen them fish. But here's what Ima gonna do. I wanting to go buy a new rod,some plastics,lures, etc. By the time this is going to take place I should have $650 saved up. And my going to spend my paycheck on fishing?? Absolutely, not. I've gotta buy a new pair of costas so that $250 gone. Were down to $400. Oh and forgot to mention the tournament is OCTOBER 19, 2013. As a bass fisherman I don't know everything, but I do know that the transition period has taken place or is about to. I do know that shad is the key to find bass. But guys the question I should be asking you: What should I buy??? I'm thinking about buying some spinners (but I don't know what size), lipless cranks, cranks, jigs, plastics, unrigged minnows (money, havoc sick fish), and etc. But you guys tell me what I should be buying for this trip. I kinda don't wanna lose against these guys, but if it happens it happens. Im never gonna here the end of it, but its ok. Thanks for reading and your help, Jay White

Has anyone used the Money Minnow I may set this lure up for mi Alabama rig. Or just t-rig it. What size hooks do you guys use? I know in the transition that shad is released ,and I see bunch of minnows and thinking about getting some of these. Thanks for the Help Guys, Jay White

Yea I was confused 6'8'' for jig/worm fishing but a 7'3'' for crankbait fishing...

We also going camping and will be fishing from the bank....the bank has very thick cover (thts were the bass are). I don't want to get it messed up...because Im not driving. Im giving the rods to someone else...Bc it will save on gas for me(dont have to take a boat). Im not wanting to have to worry about a rod on the way up there.

I'm looking at the Blackfins because they have the 18 mm nose room.

Anybody use this rod?? And what lures did you use this rod for?? It looks great for the quality and I was thinking about taking it on a CHURCH tournament...the pond were fishing is only 24 acres and its probably going to me and 15 other competitors. I was thinking about getting this rod because it looks like it hold up and I dont want my Vendettas getting messed up nor my All Star rod. Im going to purchase the casting for my bait caster that I have.

Does the bait not look right to you if fished with a 1 ounce jig???

Guys can you show me the best not for fluro. Every time I use this stuff I loose a bunch of lures. Im talking about 50 to 70 dollars worth. I want to try it again but scared too. Any help guys
