Fluoro Users: What Lb Test Do You Prefer For Jigs?
Diggy, 14-16 should be fine...pretty standard for fishing moderate cover or rocks. Ive used AbrazX before, no problems with it.

New Decals!
PERSONALLY, im not huge on putting alot of money into decals and large stickers on my boat. I guess i would if ii was given a large carpet decal or a large deecal that isnt gaudy after a purchase...but there again i like clean stock looks. But i also respect others rights to be happy and to do what they want with their money and their belongings! All that being said, your boat looks great!! If that is was makes you happy then, deck it out man!! If i ever did anything like that to my boat, it would be a very subtle.

Jig Fishing W/ Braid In Clear Water?
If theres not alot of vegetation, i would just stick with Fluoro. My local waters are generally slightly stained to clear with ALOT OF VEGETATION...most clear in the late summer/early fall. Most of my rods (except cranking rods) have braid, i typically use leaders later in the year. But if i fished gin clear waters like you discribed, id probably stick to 14-20lb fluoro for my jigs.

congrats Chuck!!! Yall did good. I hope Mama is doing ok!! I bet your boys are happy to have a new younger sibling!! That really is the best catch of all, and really...we dont catch them... like our "first fish", they catch us. Enjoy being wrapped around her little finger. Love and prayers for the new journey, Chuck. P.S. great write up. You had me going there for a moment.

Lews Tournament Pro Issues
Dude, you got a dud, call Lews, they are super helpful. All of my Lews TPs are awesome, and have had very little trouble that cleaning and re lubing took care of.

Most Expensive Lure You've Lost
Matt Lures Hard Gil. I had cauught three fish on it without checking line for frays/nicks and when i had the last fish with it, (3lbs maybe) as the fish made its final surge, my line snapped. Man, i was ticked.

Bass Boat Equipment List...

Getting My Boat Painted
This. The thinned liner should be fine with you gear, but I've always been a fan of carpet and smooth surfaces. That's a personal preference. But I've heard of local guys doing the same thing. I haven't heard of any complaints abot damaging gear or line. just make sure not to do it in Black. Tan, beige, off-white are good choices. As for color, a white hull with colored top side is sexy to me. mine is white hull/ red top.

Crap-ee or speckles

Pitching/flipping Rod
If u can handle a longer rod, I would suggest a 7'6 MH or H. The extra length is valuable as a flipping / c rig / deep jig rod.

Rod For Pitching
I don't want to be too specific on which rod brand, but I agree with a 7'-7'6 MH or H. A really good one in your price range is the Powell Endurance 775(H) or the 764(MH) normmally they are 169.99, but the can be had for 109.99 at the fish ranger *. Omens, mojo, and Shimano Compre are also rods that yyou can't go wrong with and they are at the 100 price point.

Burning Eyes After Day On The Water
When I was on the aquatic side of vegetation managment in my field of work, I experienced this a lot. It wasn't really because of my sunglasses, it was dry eyes. Your glasses are probably fine, before you do anything drastic like set up a visit with the eyes doctor$ or buy new glasses$, but some hydrating eye drops for a couple bucks and apply the eye drops before durring and after your trip. See if it helps. It made a world of difference to me. If that doesn't work then I would start looking at other things, but I really doubt that its the glasses.

Crankbait Specific Rod.. What Am I Doing Wrong?
I with WRB (Tom), on this one. The first thing I thought of was drag settings. It is often over looked but is extremely important. Keep your hooks sharp. I am not a fan of the stock hooks on the Strike King Cranks...get some premium gammys, vmcs, or Mustads and swap them out. Id try these things bbefore, id start swappin out rods or line. Triple fish is a good line, a buddy of mine uses TF exclusively and uses the exact line for cranks...and he is known as a cranker....so my guess is the line and rod should be fine.... good luck, keep fishing and keep fine tuning your mechanics, and the small things...
