Im just curious if Reid and co tried to go after Matt Flynn. Flynn was successful (for 2 games) in the same offensive scheme/principles that Reid coaches. ( Flynn is younger and may have costed them less. Im sure the Seahawks want to get out from under Flynns 10mil deal. I know Alex has a great body of work to look at but when your trying to build a team for the future...how much does alex have left in the tank?

This years draft is Full of defensive and offensive line talent. The 49ers are going to get even stouter and even younger which is a crazy because their offensive and defensive lines are already arguably the best. This puts them in a position to really get better at the skilled positions in the first couple rounds and pick up QUALITY depth for the lines and defensive backfield in the later rounds. Red earth was right, the 9ers won big time on that trade.

Im not familiar with red fish tourneys but i do know some states has "slots" for fish. For example, you can keep anything in between 23 and 27 inches. That might be the issue... i dont know..

Nooo. They are fine. But they arent new and i call see that they havent been cleaned in a while. They do have some cosmetic scratches and rash associated with regular use and from the looks of them, they need to be stripped down and cleaned and i can tell that they need to be oiled.

Haha the stuff was hardly show worthy...except for the pants, the stuff is WELL worn. The reels have pretty rough boat rash and need to be cleaned and oiled. There were a couple cranks in the package but most of it has been used...most of the plastics are open and missing a bait or two.

Now KC just could add some recieving weapons and some linemen to keep him upright. Alex smith isnt a bad QB it just took him a while...Glad to see KC make a move on a QB before the draft. This move tho, solidifies that there arent any QBs worthy on top ten in the draft. This also lets them grab one of those big linemen with the top pick instead of reaching on a QB

I ended up with 5 pair of carhart jjeans 34/32- 30 bucks 4 Abu Garcia C4 reels (1-4600, 2-5600, 1 6600) 80 bucks 4 Ugly Sticks Cat Fish rods 40 bucks 1 G Loomis Inshore Rod (the old green ones) 50 bucks And a tote FULL of hard baits and Soft baits (lots of Rapala DTs, SK cranks, Sebile Hard baits and the rest is mainly Zoom and strike king soft pastics) 30bucks Landing net 5bucks Kobalt 153 piece socket/ratchet set 20bucks. I gave her 260 for all that stuff!! I actually had o get her to hold the stuff and ran to the ATM, i thought of writing a check, but then i thought "So dont leave a paper trail with your name on it" She said that she made over 600 before i came through. She said that she had already sold all of the rods and reels that he had kept in the house earliersomehow in thethe morning Wow. Evidently her husband left her just before Christmas and hadnt been back to get his gear. Let this be a lesson to you guys...take your stuff with you.

Ive tried c riggin with shallow cranks and floating and suspending jerkbaits and all i ever got was tangles and disappointment. But there is a couple of older guys out here that swear by it.

No. You can make it braid ready. This is done by spooling on some mono line first (backing) and then connecting thr braid to the mono. Or you can place tape around the arbor and then spool on the braid. Or if you have a spool with the wiffle holes can run the braid through the holes when you tie to the spool to keep it from sliippin. I prefer option 1. It saves line. But to answer your question, there are some spinning reels and a even fewer baitcast reels on the market tha advertise a braid ready spool. Braid ready orr not, im using backking.

A buddy on mine got his person best with a big brush hog on a c rig. I think it was just shy of 11lbs. He was fishing it on an old road bed (35 FOW) that is known to hold hawgs.

Has anyone experimented with using two weights, like two 1/4s or two 1/2s either or tungsten or brass?? (For c rigs) I thought about trying it as a way to create more noise (when the two weights bang together) Any thoughts?

I have C rigged in cold weather. It works. Just have to go SLOW! But thats any cold temp bottom technique. the past couple years, ive replaced some of my carolina rigging with a Football jig.... espcially in the winter. Ill still c rig in the spring and summer. A senko or GYCB Kut tail on a carolina rig is deadly. Braid and tungsten here. When i fish Kerr Lake, its Mojo weights. Gaston is fine with the tungsten barrells.

Half and Half is my GENERAL RULE. But.... i dont put 70 yyards of braid on a flipping stick thats longest pictch may be 20 Yards im closer to 35 yards And i dont put 50 yards of floro on my cranking rods...ill put 80+/- Depends on the casts ill make with said rod.
