  2. OMG by Usher, I hear it every morning on the way to the ramp.
  3. Putting together a pattern on new lakes and spinnerbaits.
  4. He got me last week. After a trip to Cabela's, BPS, Academy, and Dick's, I spent $75 on baits while I'm trying to save up for Bass Pro's Spring sale. "You can never have too many baits", he says.
  5. I saw one at Bass Pro yesterday. They're huge!
  6. Another baby brush hog here
  7. I use the following jigs: 3/8 oz brush jigs in green/brown and black/blue 1/2 oz football jigs in the same colors 3/4 oz flipping jigs in the same colors 3/8 oz swim jigs in the same colors plus white and bluegill patterns I use a variety of trailers. In cold weather (or the bite is slow) use craw like trailers that don't have claws that flap around and have a tremendous amount of action. This offers a more subtle aproach. In warmer weather use trailers that create a swimming action. Twin tail grubs, rage craws, paca craws, etc. I match my trailer color to my jig color. Good luck and let the fish tell you the way you should fish them.
  8. I've met Boyd Duckett and KVD at my old local tackle shop. Never seen one at a Bass Pro.
  9. No, but another worm i like is the Bass Pro Shops Drop shot worm.
  10. My favortite is a Chompers drop shot worm in watermelon red or green pumpkin. I use #2 Gamakatsu split shot/ drop shot hooks. I tie a swivel about 1 foot above the hook to prevent line twists. On the hook, I tie a palomar knot and attach the weight to the tag end.
  11. Strike King Zeros used to be my go to bait for wacky or Texas rigging. However, after a few fish on one they'd fill with air pockets and float. You could try those.
  12. I personally started with the Quantum Bill Dance baitcasting combo. It runs about $70 last time I checked. Used it for all sorts of applications such as tubes and Senkos. I've gotten 3 seasons out of mine (soon to be more after I clean it). My little brother (age 9) got the Bill Dance Combo last year fot his first baitcaster and can use it just fine. Plus, for only $70 that gives you money for some lures and line.
  13. You own fishing licenses to states you've never been to. You think watermelon red should be on the color wheel.
