I am 14 and I am a fishing addict, infact I just got back from a 6hr fishing session again, I love fishing, I just started working in a tackle store.

Ahaha, You go on a fox hunting trip here, guaranteed heaps of fox as well as hit 3 on the way out with your car just driving along 2 days ago in the south west, saw a whole field full of deer right next to a main road!!!

Its so annoying, our government is dealing with a shark crisis, in fact last week they gave a kill order for a great white near a swimmers beach... Why don't they open them up to recreational fishing... It would bring in lots of money and lots more jobs...........

It is really fun going for land based spanish mackerel over here (I think they are called king macs in america) and you spin off the rocks. you first have to let them run about 600m+ on a 3kg drag setting despite there massive size so they can outrun the sharks then you full lock up and winch them before a shark can get them... heart in mouth stuff!

Last Wild Thing: There is a few wrecks sunk about 35km from the Perth Metro Area in Australia. This place is packed with huge Sampson Fish and Amberjack, I am talking about quite a few taken over 50kg each year! the wild thing is all the sharks, no joke, 9/10 hookups come back with just a head... and that is on a good day. A few people have tried catching the sharks, takes all ok 10 seconds at the most to hook a 4m+ Great White there...

Hey All,This is my first post on this forum. I come from Western Australia, 5 sharks have killed people here in the last year. here is some stores from my mates and I: My mate was walking past the river and saw some people feeding ducks...30seconds later a bullshark jumps out and eats a duck Kayak fishing and my mate had a shark jump next to him... this is 8km+ up a river! I snapped my first rod casting a massive lure at an estimated 50lb bullshark in my local river... 20cm lures and 1-3kg rods don't mix... Regards, Tom
