I know how effective this technique is. I have two boxes LC Sammy and Gunfish. I tried top water several times, but I didn't have any luck with it. I always push myself to learn it, but delay it for next time. Maybe it's because I do well with t-rig and jig.

Nice catches! We were on Balsam on Saturday too. We caught only 9 SMB, 1 - 3.5 lb., and missed one 5 pounder beside a boat. Most fish were caught on Ned rig and Wacky Senko.
