Building A Tackle Box
I don't expect for it all to be answered, just to see what y'all use in different situations I've listed or see whats in your tacklebox that might prove valuable in mine. I've never pulled a bass out of a river or murky water or with soft plastics.

Building A Tackle Box
Hey Guys, I was wanting some help with building a tackle box so that it covers any situation you can encounter. Some things to consider when answering are these: 1. River Lures 2. Murky/Dirty Water 3. Something for when the bite gets hard 4. Lures for wood and/or grass I've also included pictures of the area that I fish a lot. (Or attempt too)

First Spinnerbait Bass
Thanks y'all! Oh Siebert Outdoors, I got my jigs in the mail the other day, and they looked amazing.

First Spinnerbait Bass
Hey Everybody! I know its not huge or anything like that, but here goes the first bass I've caught on a spinnerbait. Gotta say I wasn't expecting to catch anything because of how cold it has been getting. Caught it at Lake Howard in Alabama. -Templeton

Which jig is the all terrain jig?

Second Baitcast Setup
Very true. I bobber fish a lot cause sometimes I wanna sit back and relax and take in the scenery instead of constantly focusing on technique and throwing and retrieving.

Second Baitcast Setup
I just don't want to be a person that has a 100 different rods and feel like they are out a ton of money. I do it for the fun and love of fishing and not for the hope of going pro someday.

Second Baitcast Setup
What would be a good reel for jigs? Brand name if you could as well as the rods you would recommend and or use.

Second Baitcast Setup
Roadwarrior, know of any combos that are decent for the feel for around 150 bucks?

Second Baitcast Setup
Not really big on frogs in the first place. I've always had a problem feeling a bite on jigs, T-Rigs and etc., so I was looking for a taller rod for power fishing really. To really cast it out there.

What do y'all think of my recent purchase? Pinnacle Deadbolt Limited 7:0:1 gear ratio Shakespeare Ugly Stik Lite Pro 7'0" Medium Action Graphite Rod

Unlucky Lure/rig
I think my biggest problem is feeling the bite itself.
-
Unlucky Lure/rig
Spinning, Shakespeare Conquest medium action. I also changed my line to fluorocarbon, which I used before hand. Now that I thought about it, you all were right about the sensitivity part of line. Don't even know what I was thinking. LOL
-
Unlucky Lure/rig
I use a t-rig on a Shakespeare 6' two piece pole that is rated medium action. I switched to monofilament line because I had heard that it has the highest sensitivity of all the line types.

Unlucky Lure/rig
Buzzbaits are the lure that caught me my first bass. (Actually targeting them with lures mind you) Never tried a carolina rig and seem to have the same problem with the jerkbaits.
-
Unlucky Lure/rig
I have tried all these techniques and have no success at all with any of them. I usually use zoom u-tail worms in watermelon seed, motor oil/chart, Junebug and Pumpkin Chartreuse. I think green pumpkin would be a good color, but the Walmart nearest me doesn't carry them.
-
Unlucky Lure/rig
I don't know if I'm the only person to have this problem or not, but for the life of me, I cannot catch a single fish on a T-Rig. I have watched a lot of videos on the methods of fishing it, and have yet to land one. I have caught them on spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and Lipless crankbaits and even a shakey head. So I was just wondering, do any of you find yourselves with a similar problem?

Careers
Might just take you up on that offer. Anywhere in particular I should call first?

Careers
They all sound very interesting and I do have background knowledge in electricity helping my dad wire houses and garages. How would you go about getting into something like that?

Careers
Hey Guys, Just recently graduated High School and am still stumped on what career route to go on. I know the whole follow your heart and stuff, but was wondering what some of y'all do. Kinda trying to get an idea of what to do in life. Thought about going to college and becoming a teacher, but if there was something better out there that is interesting to me, might look into it. Thank you for your comments. -Templeton

How Would You Go About Fishing This?
Well, I did get a bite. But they had dammed it off up river cause they are getting ready to fix the foundation of the mill and a lot of the bigger fish had been going down river to find deeper water. They said it should be back up to specks in about 2 months or so. But I do appreciate the information y'all have given me. -Templeton
