He had never tried drop shot so he had that tied on with a black/blue baby brush hog and was just tossing it around the grass and lily pads. Yeah he was pretty excited!!!

On my annual trip down to FL my Dad and I got out to do some fishing and well things went pretty well for him!!! 9lb 5oz big o girl. For those curious it came from Lake Kissimmee in Jacks Slough area. She was released healthy and lively after a quick photo shoot!

I am looking to start club fishing and was looking for one in the Escanaba area or to see if there was some interest to start one!!!!!

Thanks, I am clearly on the wrong side of the state when it comes to fishing but tons of great lakes within a few hour drive to make weekend trips out of!

So the Air Force has saw fit to PCS me to lovely OK. I will be stationed at Altus but more than likely live in Lawton and make the commute...blah. In either case have an old 90 Ranger that I will be bringing down with me from WA and intend to get as much fishing in as I can. So that is where all of you come in...with the where and the whats! I fish as much as I possibly can and will be looking for a small club if there are any in the area. Anyways enough of my rant..oh and I will be heading that way this Nov. so see you all very soon!!! Awesome fish!! I was shaking and went a little Ike after my 8lber yesterday. I wonder if all the screaming is what attracted the other bass boat that morning hahaha. Congrats man!!!

Thanks everyone...never expected to pull that beast out up here. Was out pitching a jig to docks and she grabbed it on the fall! The water temp was only 50, but we had a few hot days the week before that started putting fish up on the docks out here and I figured why not try again. Sadly though awarded with this monster only to have one of my new HDS 10 Gen II take a crap on me 45 mins later. Talked with Lowrance and they are going to take a look at it for me, sending it in today.

Came in at 8lbs 8oz which is awesome for up here in the Northwest!!!!

Order placed, time to start mastering jig fishing.

Anyone fished Toho recently? Looking to get out there a few times in the next week or two? Any info would be great!

I normally stick to 3/8 and 1/2 oz weights but that is coming from a new guy haha
