How often do you guys mix and match jig trailers and jigs? Say a brown jig with a green pumpkin trailer or a green pumpkin jig with a pb&j trailer... Etc. I got this question from Felix77's topic and I'm wondering if I'm limiting myself.

For me its the getaway. I love the challenge of trying to figure out what a bass wants to eat, then trying to make that bait look as life like as possible.

Any of you guys fish em? Would you fish it like a shakey head? Or just hop it along?

Get better at tournament fishing. Its hard for me to get a limit. Also to build confidence with spinnerbaits and jerkbaits.

What power and action rod do you guys use for a rage rig

I learned my lesson about that left one tied on and when out for my next fishing trip and was like O_O what happened but now when I get home I take my jig box and sit it next to the vent to dry out.

Plano 3700 box organized by color. Make sure your taking the trailers off of the jigs and you are letting them dry. If the trailers have salt it will cause the hooks to rust.

Anything small Berkley twitch tail minnow is my number one filled by a 4" Senko

I like the twist lock 5\O for trick worms and flukes you talk about sharp and strong. But they are owner so you know the quality. They are great hooks imo.

With me a jig would be somewhere in the mix

Im planning a trip to lake Norman on Saturday and I was wondering what you guys would throw. The current water temp is 37 it just snowed. Sat its supposed to be around 60 air temp with clouds.

Are they available now

I was trying it what weight were you using. I was using from 3/8-3/4 oz in everything from white to black.

Anyone try this for the winter I've been doing trying it with no success wondering if anyone has been doing it with success if so any tips?

Dwight I have the bigger sizes I think it was the water temp I got home and tested them and only a few suspended correctly the others I added a split ring and they were fine. My water was at 43 while the times I was fishing the the water was 50+

O I know I see him fishing one and it looks like he's going so fast the fish wouldn't have time grab it he doesn't jerk or twitch he swats lol

Ok ill check it out may have to use them when the water begins to warm up
