Oil Prices Plunge
Yeah, the thread should be named "OPEC destroys lower and middle class families worldwide"

Drop Shot Jigs (pics and link added)
The size of a quarter? I'd probably try flipping one instead of putting it on a dropshot. I wouldn't know how they perform as intended though. I do good to catch fish on a regular dropshot, and even then I tweak it and "fish it wrong," as my buddy says.

Jigs in warm water
I fish jigs year round. From spring to fall, I like trailers with an action tail like the Rage tail or a *, but for winter I prefer pork or more subtle trailers. Of course, there are those days when my philosophy doesn't work, but it does it most of the time. I don't understand how a jig isn't good for warm water. In many lakes, bass will seek heavy cover and shade in warm water. Jigs are perfect for heavy cover. To each his own I guess.

rage tail shad, wow!
I love the rage tail shad. More often than not, I reach for it instead of buzzbaits now. It is a tad more subtle than a buzzbait and has a different profile, which is perfect for the lakes that I fish. They are beat to death with angling pressures. I rig them with a 4/0 hook, tail up and fish them over shallow grass or anywhere else you'd fish a buzzbait. These things are awesome.

Airforce F22 Raptor
As far as mpg, I think it's actually pretty good as far as jets go. Afterburners work by dumping fuel straight into the jet exhaust. Since the F22 doesn't have to kick the cans to go supersonic, that has to save gas right there. Also, I think it has like a 1500 mile mission radius or something like that. It can reach out there and touch someone. Well not really touch them. More like physically abuse them in ways that people have never concieved.

Water and gas hybrid conversion kit for cars???
THat's what I thought too, until I had it on their side of the ocean. It's SO much better there. Just plain out amazing. And that's not even the best european beer out there.

Your Skunkbuster bait?
1) Split shot (1/8 to 1/4oz weight) 4" curl tail or straight tail worm 2) Rage tail craw with 1/8oz weight 3) * * with 3/16oz jighead 4) 1/4oz shakey head finesse worm One of those 4 lures will always work. So far, the Rage tail craw hasn't let me down, and it's been every weekend (and some lunch trips) since around feb.

Water and gas hybrid conversion kit for cars???
You should try a heinikin (forgive the spelling, but you know what i mean lol) while you're actually in holland or germany. Now THAT'S beer. T-Rig can probably testify to that. I had a layover there and it was the best beer I had ever drank. As far as the water/gas car goes...oh well. Thank god my new job pays for gas. It's a shame I'm not allowed to say what it is ;D

texas rigging?
RW has that on permanent copy/paste ;D

How much??
Hey Tin, you forgot to take into account that the fish did not have diet soda with it's shad breakfast. It actually weighs 4.90. Sorry man, but you're getting good ;D

What used to work for you...but don't anymore
We'll just stick with the fishing ;D Body parts is for another forum lol

Oil Prices Plunge
LMAO dude. That's great. As far as the Saudi King is concerned... King: "No, I will not lower gas prices" America: "No cheap gas for us, no palaces for you. Bombs away"

Water and gas hybrid conversion kit for cars???
Well...looks like I'll just invest in a few cases of beer and continue to hate gas prices. That is a pretty convincing report

This Got My Attention
Thats pretty good advice.

The banjo minnow
Or you could just buy some flukes, not have to worry about the extra rigging steps, and then out-produce the banjo minnow. Just a thought

Water and gas hybrid conversion kit for cars???
This looks like a gimmick...smells like a gimmick...but I can hardly resist the temptation. The bait monkey has a cousin called the "YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR GAS" Monkey and he's callin. Someone lemme know if this works or if this is the helicopter lure's automotive cousin please. http://www.runyourcarwithwater.com/#sale

Evolution Jigs
I don't have any EVO jigs right now, but the jigs that I use most of the time for shallow water (10-15ft at the deepest) are almost always green pumpkin and orange. I also like solid black in stained or turbid water.

Need Help understanding the FROG bite!
Anytime is a good time to attack pads with frogs. I also like to drop trick sticks, rage tail craws, or lizards down in the holes and pockets. Pads almost ALWAYS hold bass.

Airforce F22 Raptor
Yeah, supercruise = speed of sound w/o afterburners. Between the F35 and the F22, the Airforce is about to become the most technologically advanced and most dangerous force in human history. What those two planes are capable of doing is scary. Stealth, speed, ordinance, superior dog fighting, and the ability to operate in any weather makes them one heck of a tool in any conflict. I wish they'd pour as much money and research into our ground forces though. EM guns, lighter armor, around the corner targeting, and integrated sights are all existing technologies, but we're still firing weapons designed in the '60s. The Army needs to follow the Air Force's and Navy's example. Technology=superiority.

Are you more successful with plastics??
I actually wonder about that. Spoons, wooden plugs, and hair jigs have been around for ages and ages. Not specifically for bass, but I'm sure they have hauled in a bunch. But plastics have had the time, technology, and marketing to catch up fast. It would be interesting.

Oil Prices Plunge
We have that now with the Colorado and Wyoming oil shale deposits holding some 1+ trillion barrels of oil - five time the amount of Saudi Arabia's reserves. Oil had to reach $100+ per barrel before extraction and refinement was cost effective. That has happened, and Shell has developed a way to get it out of the ground rather easily. While we may never see $2/gallon gas again, it very well could be that one day the the United States will be the largest oil producer in the world and countries will look to us for crude. If the US becomes the world's oil supply...well the rest of the world better hope they don't ask me about what the price for export should be... 9000 dollars a barrel for AMERICAN CRUDE OPEC AFFILIATED COUNTRIES!!!!!

Are you more successful with plastics??
Soft plastics are responsible for most of my fish. But considering I fish texas rigs, flordia rigs, carolina rigs, or jigs almost 90% of the time, that probably has more to do with it. Cranks, spinnerbaits, and topwaters all produce for me when I take the time to use them or find a way to squeeze them in between flips and pitches.

***Please pass the MOJO-2008***
Yeah, that little dude has definitely been lucky. It's rode through several direct IED attacks and god only knows how many firefights and patrols. A few RPK rounds slashed a few inches above my head while wearing it in a "peaceful, pro American town." Someone made that thing to absorb and leak out good luck.

4th Annual BassResource.com Roadtrip!!!
I'm game. I'll be working my new job, so I will be able to be like normal people and put in for vacation....or come down with a bad cold. Couldn't go to this year's because of Army stuff, but next year is open season. I might have my bass boat by then. If not, I might rock the canoe!! ;D
