I used a steady retrieve successfully, as the scatter action is designed into the bait well.

For me, in my local clear water lakes...I use the Shad color.

I fished both the Scatter Shad and the Scatter Crank this past weekend, and love the action on both. It does as advertised, and I spent my lunch hour(s) today buying up my local stores' inventory in the Shad color. A winner for me for sure.

I have the larger bag....it is pretty nice. Lots of room and I like the feature of the box on top. I would recommend it for the $59 price...which I got it for as well.

I'm a huge fan of the Vivif line...and have found that the Pearl works best for me.

I was fishing Butler this weekend and it was pretty clear that the bass were off their beds. It was a cold and windy day, so we found luck fishing mid-lake points and the associated banks leading to them (with heavy cover). Running spinnerbaits worked well on the 2-4 pounders.

Hey everyone, Matt here. I'm from Central Florida and recently started getting back into fishing. I hit the Butler Chain every week or so, and have been getting my lineup ready for some great action!

I was at Dicks yesterday picking up a couple Cavitrons and saw the Skeet Reese promo....so I purchased a topwater rod and received this reel for free. I will be using it tomorrow and will pass along my results. I usually fish BPS PQs on my rigs, but couldn't resist the promo.
