  1. Ya i had it four months now.
  2. I meant to type spotted, i know it sounds like i meant to say spooted.
  3. Which bass fights the hardest?
  4. It really depends on the conditions for me. I use different colors for different days.
  5. I have the same problem. Heres my research: you hire a boater at or before the event, you just sign up for some tournaments, i just google them and i find a bunch. Also as you get older you join a bass club which is what i'm going to do, i am 15 as well.
  6. Yes for the most part thats what im doing. See i should have asked this question differently, instead of a sponsorship i am looking to work for free. I want free lures but thats it, it's a way to show im trustworthy before i'm sponsored. I am going to do tournament fishing in a few years so i need people to consider me.
  7. Well the worst time to use braid is in clear water because it is high visibility. the best time is on cloudy days that have stained or worse water. Also try not to use it on aluminum guides as it may make a groove in the aluminum from all the friction.
  8. nice man, I live in nj too. What lake do you fish at?
  9. When i was younger and overlooked fake baits i caught bass on occasion. Every time I caught a bass it was an exciting experience. As I got older and wanted to learn to catch only bass on a single trip thats when i got interested. I used to fish with nightcrawlers, but nothing compared to being able to buy a bait that could be reused and mastered. At this point in my fishing journey i have labeled this my sport more than a hobby, but iguess a sport is a hobby when you aren't getting paid.
  10. Wow i just had the same question this morning. I just went creek fishing in pa and honestly i have to say i did well with inline spinners. Just use a mid retrieve and fish it up-stream and down-stream. I used a rooster tail and this other inline that looked like a minnow, anything in that nature. Always cast for the deeper parts of the creek, if theres trout and bass thats were theyll be. Best of luck!
  11. Same, it just doesnt feel right for some reason. I tease so many people about wearing them yet i dont know why there rap is so bad.
  12. Honestly my goto lure depends on the kind of day/season. But my all time favorite lure the heddon torpedo is what i usually use.
  13. Oh and my younger brother had trouble with his knots and lost two brand new lures yesterday. I still feel bad for him.
  14. Custom painted jitterbug. A pickerel snatched it and in doing so cut the line. I wonder if anyone caught the pickerel and retrieved the lure.
  15. yes definitely, the summer is harsh during the day so i always go at night. I myself am fairly new to night fishing and I cant even compare summer days to summer nights anymore. The only annoying thing to me sometimes is lack of brush visibility.
  16. Ya i just got into topwater also, especially the heddon torpedo. I would definitely recommend one.
  17. Ya i know, my grammar is really bad in this question.
  18. Are there carp tournaments in nj?
  19. Also, could you point me to some colleges with fishing teams? Im 15 so i have to prepare.
  20. The part about my age is true, i knew that. I am currently doing pre sponsorship work for creme lures. It does actually keep some attention on me and lets them trust me. I agreed to help for free until i was able to go to tournaments and manage money etc. And I'm taking a lot of business and financial classes.
  21. When a company is very low on the popularity scale will they be more willing to sponsorship requests? And if they dont even any pro staff?

  23. Ya they actually do that to alot of people, me at first. Then i spent hours writing a sponsorship email and got turned down. Finally i used facebook for a company and helped them and then asked for a sponsorship. They immediatly considered me. You have to give before you receive. Good luck, keep trying.
  24. Thanks, they said they're forming a field staff and we could talk about it. Which is definetly a start because ive presented to other companies and they just gave me that we have nothing available excuse.
