I am looking at getting a new jig rod. What are some nice rods for under 200? I usually throw 3/8 OZ jigs, I do more flipping and pitching than casting. What lengths, power, and action do you guys usually look for in a jig rod?

I have most of my luck on soft plastics(mainly senkos), holly belly swimbaits, jerkbaits, and spinnerbaits

What colors do you guys like for the scatter raps? The lake I fish has about 2-4 ft of water clarity and the main forage is gizzard shad. I would like to get a shad color and craw color. Thanks

what is your guy's favorite swim jig trailer? Paddle tail swim bait, grub, twin tail grub ect. and do you match colors?

i usually bite the end of the paca chunk off so it fits right and the hook comes out of the nose

I am from the lancaster area. we only have some small lakes around here. usually fish hargus & rockmill, occasionaly fish deer creek. other than that its just local ponds. Havent had the chance to get out yet this year though.

i started getting into jig fishing this year. bought a black, watermellon and a green pumpkin. with net bait paca chunk trailors. so far the black is all iv caught fish on. but the water is pretty murky around here

so what type of line do you guys use? and what colors? right now im using green braid, but it can be a little hard to see sometimes
