how do you fish a chatterbait? any specific technique? or just work it like a spinner or swim jig

also what type of knot do you use when tying the backing to the spool

how do you go about filling a spool with a backing and then a braided line? most say they use a uni uni knot which is what i was going to do. my only question is when do you tie them together? if you ran the backing through the eyes down to the reel and tied it on then filled it most of the way. then tie the uni uni knot will that knot fit through all of the eyes then through the one on the reel?

can you do all of those retrieves with a craw trailer or should certain retrieves be use for different trailers?

what kind of retrievals do you use with a crank?

could you guys possibly go into more depth on the different retrieves. do you pop it, and just slowly drag it across the bottom. yoyo it or what

dont have a pic but caught one on a little rooster tail. was about the size of my pinky

what is the smallest fish you ever caught on a lure? mine was last year on a small rooster tail. largemouth about the size of my pinky. didnt even know i had a fish on the line. thought it was some moss.

There are some small rivers and some decent creeks around where i live i would like to try fishing some. the river is probably average 30-40 yards wide and has some pretty deep pools and the creek is probably 20 yards wide and is probaly 5-10ft in its deepest parts. the currents seem to be pretty good in both. what kind of techniques and styles of baits would you use to fish in them?

just curious if you change your trailer on your jig for different seasons. i am wanting to fish jigs more and wanting to get some info on what types of trailers i should be using in early spring when the temps are 40 or bellow. early spring into pre spawn, during the summer months, then fall.

in what situations would you tie on a leader to braid. certain baits? certain cover? ect. and would you use a monocarbon or what type of line for the leader?

so if the first one covers shallow cranks and texas rigs and light jigs. the second covers jerk baits and drop shot. i would like to have more of a spinnerbait, jig rod, or deep cranking rod

i am actually wanting to get another rod that is 7"+, just wanted to hear what i sould be using the ones i already have. then get one that covers the baits that mine didnt
