  1. I've done this before for largemouths. I just tie on a hook and put a bobber on the line, I also wacky rig the senko. It was killer for largemouth so I don't see how it wouldn't work for smallies.
  2. Im in, this is free right?
  3. I have Lake Winnebago about an hour away from me (ranked 25)
  4. This is probably a really stupid question, but whenever I am fishing from a boat for bass I tend to fish around cover and near shallow water. Then when watching videos on youtube I often see the person fishing right in the middle of the lake. Is there something I'm really missing out on? What do you use to fish in the middle of a lake and deep water. I am a primarily shore fisher, so I'm not as educated in boat fishing. Please tell me about why and when to fish deep(middle of a lake) and when to fish shallow.
  5. The best lure I use... it's really hard to decide. I haven't caught a majority of my bass on just one lure. It may sound odd but I haven't caught a bass on a spinnerbait or a jig EVER. I catch most of them on crankbaits, topwater or senkos. I would have to say that my best lure is a 3" silver x-rap.
  6. Anybody in here know of some good bass lakes in the Ozaukee County area? It would be great to get away from small pond fishing to try some real lakes.
  7. Whats the best lure you use?
  8. It looks like there are some good pieces of structure in the pond, like the stumps. I would throw out some really bright crankbaits and maybe a spinnerbait. I'd start off shallow and work my way down with the depth of the crankbaits. Also make sure the crankbaits have rattles.
