Kerr This Weekend
Following up.... Pre-fishing Thursday and Friday they were catching a lot of bass. Feeling very confident as he left the dock on Saturday morning for the NC Highschool Chanpionship only to find out that everything had changed. Caught one bass 3.5 lbs. Winning team had 3 fish for a total weight of 10.? lbs. caught on floating worms.

Kerr This Weekend
I will send this to him. Hopefully he will produce enough to place in his HS tourney. His brother is meeting him there to pre-fish tomorrow. Thanks! I'll follow up on Monday with the results.

Kerr This Weekend
My son is fishing Kerr this weekend. Any helpful information that I can relay to him would be great. He will be fishing south of the state line only. I promis to report back on his success. Thanks in advance for any help!

Piedmont Nc
Tillery is as close as I got. Water was clear but fish were tight lipped. Caught a few small chasing minnows just as the sun was touching the tree tops.

Wierd Bass Behaviour
I can relate exactly to what you are experiencing. Recently I have caught them on small jerk baits to large broken-back poppers in the middle of shallow coves. I try throwing a popper very aggressive to mimmic chasing then I go back and forth between a popper and the small jerk bait or small wildeye minnow. They go thru spurts of feeding and just got to be there trying to throw what ever you have that looks like the bait they are chasing. The bass are/were not spawing on Tillery last weekend either but seems to share the same phase as your lake. Temps were in the 55 degree or below range. Unfortunately, Tillery is a resevior lake and cold water is constantly being introduced from Badin Lake where other lakes in NC are warming up.

Hello From Nc
Just wanted to introduce myself. My oldest son got me into bass fishing and now I'm hooked. He attends ECU and is part of their bass team. Also, my youngest son is now a member of his high school team. We primarily fish Lake Tillery near Albermarle, NC but will be fishing Badin and other local lakes near Charlotte. I would like to start gathering info on these lakes (primarily Tillery) due to the fact that I will be fishing it mostly. I would love to fish a couple of local tournaments in the future so I joined this forum to help increase my knowlege. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
