I guess I do that to, but my fear has always been something would come and pick that bait of especially a worm or jig which the wind and current will give action too and then there goes my rod

That is so cool, I have never been that before but I would ask them if you can take a note book..... and just ask as many questions as they allow, I hear some actually never stop talking and will tell you all you need to know, but if they let you I would take notes

I totally agree with this, just make sure it is safe and if it is in a no wake then just give them enough distance so when it is a wake zone it will still remain safe

I have nocked one of my spinning reels in the water this year and then I dropped it in another and it feels different the next cast but I cleaned it all up and it works like a charm

Try a shaky head you can fish this a little faster, but ask him to slow down

I am getting so tired of bluegill ripping tail off my power worms and tearing my soft plastics (I get it its fishing but I am 17 and trying to save for college). My dad said he would buy me a Ribbon Tail Worm mold 6" from Net Craft. If it works I will ask for more for my birthday. My questions are Is it safe to place to met the plastic in the micro wave or will the fumes get into food in the future Can you melt down used old plastics (I know the color would be off) but does this work

Even on day where I have a great pattern going I will take that pattern in there and get zilch not even a bite

My place is not a lake but rather a place on a lake, there is this really good looking bay that I fish but have never caught anything, yet I know the are in there it is just to promising looking.

It is very important to watch your line, as this will tell you what your bait is doing. Also be paying attention to the feel on your rod

I have always struggled with what to do in certain weather for fishing, I know this is broad but are there any good articles on this. For example I am fishing the shore one day and the next a cold front came over night, where do I start today? If this makes sense I will appreciate any help And is this right High Pressure fish are high in the water Colom and in low pressure they are low?

The lake I fish it is practically a sin to cast near someone's dock, I think that is crazy it is not there water

I just got the HumminBird LCR 4000, I know it is old and not the best but it is better than nothing. I have read the directions on it and think I under stand them pretty well. My biggest question was where is what I see on the screen in the water. I read that it would be under you or behind you, correct? If anyone has any tips on how to use it to benefit my fishing and or any helpful hints for me using this sonar
