  1. Don't know your location, but I have dealt with that scenario before. Down here it was a case of it being saltwater stripes busting minnows. I quit trying once I figured out what they were.
  2. On Wheeler. Joe Weeler State Park has many spots you can fish from the bank. Elk River Bridge on highway 72 in Rogersville is another spot I see people fishing. A lot of people fish underneath the bridge that crosses Second Creek on 72 as well as down near the boat ramp. there at Second Creek. A few options on Wilson other than Safety Harbor that was mentioned above is Fleet Harbor, Veterans Park in Florence has some shoreline to fish at. Lock Six in Killen. Used to see some people fish down on the colbert side at the mouth of town creek. I dont know if you can still get down there they closed the boat ramp there. Hope these help. Good luck!

  5. Hello there. Been visiting the site/forum for a while now and browsing the articles/posts. Lots of good info. and knowledgeable members. I have only been bass fishing for the last 3 or 4 years. I have learned a lot in that short amount of time, but I know there is a lot more to learn! Primarily fish Pickwick, WIlson and Wheeler Lakes here in N. Alabama. Look forward to participating in the forum as best I can.
